The facility is beautiful and well-kept. The beach, although on the smaller side, was picture perfect. We did not struggle to find an open chair. Service is a little slower at restaurants but that’s to be expected (island time). Buffet was ok; fuzion (Asian) restaurant was the best out of all of ...
The property overall was very nice. Most of the staff were nice as well, however, they had some ignorant bush folks that need to find employment in the bushes. For instance, Kenloy at the Galleon Steakhouse was rude and disrespectful to me and my Mom. The supervisor Dona, tried to explain it away ...
This property is immaculately clean and incredibly well-maintained. I recognize this is a new property but there is always someone working to update, clean, polish and make certain everything is pristine. From the moment you walk into the lobby you are greeted with the most wonderful tropical air ...
Great time food was amazing. Can't wait to go back
The whole atmosphere was sooo laid back, staff was friendly and attentive
Excellent service, great amenity, the food was extremely good and varied.
Great resort with very friendly staff. Great food options. Didn’t like that they kept cleaning the pools and would close them down. They also had periods in time where they didn’t have towels for the pool and beach! And still with that, we had a great time and would go back!
I had a ocean front suite. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Thie rooms are not in massive buildings; rather, they are cottage style. As a result, you can simply walk outside many of the rooms directly onto the beach. The ocean was literally about 15 yards from the back door of our room.
The property was everything you could imagine. The only thing i don’t like is the drinks are too water down. It’s not strong please don’t waste your time drinking all those fancy cocktails or premium drinks. I was on my 6 drink and still wasn’t tipsy. The last day of my stay i started to just ask ...
When you picture hotels in Montego Bay, you think of a luxurious five-star hotel with sea views. And Montego Bay is home to a good range of upscale resorts, offering plenty of facilities and unrivalled service. Most of the five-star resorts in Montego Bay are along the coast, and many even have their own private beaches for that added slice of privacy and seclusion.
Most the five-star resorts in the Montego Bay area are in Rose Hall, with some luxury places to stay further east towards the town of Ocho Rios. Rose Hall is about a 20-minute drive from Montego Bay Donald Sangster International Airport and is fringed by white-sand beaches and green seas. It’s ideal for couples and honeymooners, with its quiet laid-back feel and sumptuous resorts.
The area’s main attraction is Rose Hall Great House, a stunning Georgian mansion and classic Caribbean estate. During the day, enjoy a wander around Rose Hall’s elegant grounds then stop off at the bar. Or arrange a private night tour of haunted Rose Hall before taking a boat trip at Luminous Lagoon in Falmouth, where you can either enjoy a romantic rum cocktail on the boat or take swim in the glowing green waters.
Book into a five-star hotel in Montego Bay and to be near championship golf courses. Try the White Witch Golf Course and Cinnamon Hill Golf Course, both named as two of the best courses in the world by Golfer magazine.
Choose the larger resorts of Montego Bay and Ocho Rios for your luxurious Jamaican break, and you’ll have access to some of the best private beaches on the island -- and many more attractions. In Montego Bay, visit Doctor’s Cave Beach, situated along the town’s Hip Strip of Gloucester Avenue. The beach has an exclusive beach club, as well as many facilities, including restaurants and bars. In Ocho Rios, head to Reggae Beach and its Bamboo Beach Club, where you can enjoy excellent Jamaican dining and entertainment.
