When we booked our trip I was not really cognizant of how the island was still in the process of recovering from the devasting hurricane of last October. Many of the villas of the resort itself have not reopened, although the facilities in the Eclipse area where we stayed were all in excellent shape. However for the price we paid, we were expecting there to be a bit more on offer in terms of evenings and night life. Our time was relaxing but also kind of boring. The staff was excellent, helpful, and friendly, but everything was VERY expensive. The food was mostly okay but not great.

We loved Half Moon and plan to return with our children. Lovely resort with everything you need for a relaxing and fun vacation. We enjoyed all the restaurants, multiple pools and beaches and the water sports. The food is a bit pricey but good to very good.
