All four star hotels in the city are also equipped with high-quality conference facilities and well-equipped business centres with fax machines, photocopying facilities, and printers. They are suitable for many types of private functions, from corporate meetings to award ceremonies, and employ dedicated concierge teams with years of experience in managing high-profile events.

Visit At-Bristol In the City Centre

A superb science museum, At-Bristol has an extensive variety of technological and scientific artefacts to entertain and educated visitors of all ages. See the enormous Planetarium, observe a real human brain, take the kids to the Tiny Explorers exhibit, and head to All About Us where you can see dozens of exhibits on the human body.

Other Attractions In Bristol - a Few Suggestions

Bristol is home to the grand Victoria Rooms, which, as the name would imply, were built at the turn of the Victorian period and were designed in a Greek Revival theme. The site, owned by the University of Bristol, organises concerts and other live performances throughout the year, and once played host to Charles Dickens.

Elegantly Designed Rooms with Premium Bedding

Another major advantage of choosing four star hotels in Bristol is that you'll benefit from decent-sized, luxury bedding so you'll be guaranteed a pleasant night's sleep. Some hotels also provide pillow menus, and many are happy to provide additional bedding or cots for a nightly surcharge.

A City with Plenty of Pleasant Green Spaces

Bristol has a wide range of picturesque parks such as Snuff Mills, which features a former quarry and is known for its sizeable otter population residing on the River Frome. One of the most visited open spaces is Ashton Court, an 850-acre estate dominated by the imposing Ashton Court mansion and a venue for the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta and the city's Kite Festival.

See Brunel's SS Great Britain

This mighty ship, which during a period of more than 170 years has sailed the world more than 30 times, was designed by the world-renowned engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. It's now one of Britain's most popular family attractions, where visitors can explore its decks and learn about what life would have been like aboard in its Victorian heyday.

4 Star Hotels near the SS Great Britain

You can find a number of deluxe four star Bristol hotels within walking distance of the SS Great Britain, from the immaculate Mercure Bristol Holland House Hotel and Spa at Redcliffe Hill, to the splendid Bristol Hotel at Prince Street.
