"Good central hotel"
Decent size room and bathroom, had to turn air con off as it sounded like an alarm in the distance! Lovely big bed and very comfortable. Considering how close we were to the road and shops it was quiet in the room. Free parking for 24 hours next to the hotel was one of the main selling points for us.

"Nice hotel and good position"
Excellent. A view would have been nice but we bought a "cheap" (!) room so there was none.

"Nice hotel in great location."
Stayed here for 2 nights over bank holiday weekend. Hotel is in a great location by the floating harbour & close to all central Bristol attractions. Clifton is a pleasant 30 min walk. We stayed in a standard double room. Fittings & furniture in the room were of a high standard. Not the biggest of rooms but fine for two for a short stay. Breakfast was very good and there was a lovely view of the harbour from the dining room. Good hotel in a great city.

Overall, disappointing the toilet wasn't clean nor the bed cover when we arrived. There is a long term water leak in the bathroom which made the floor wet and was uneven and rotten in places. The bed throw also had recent white stains on it and was replaced. For the money we paid, the overall rating would be below average for us. Great location and reception was good.

"Fantastic Location"
Stayed for a weekend with a friend (2 single bedrooms). Location excellent. Very clean. Staff really helpful, friendly & knowledgeable. Luxurious bedrooms. The spa/pool area isn't large but sufficient, clean, good facilities. The cost of car parking £16 per day is steep. Wifi is free in public area but over £4 per day in the rooms. Both of these are penny pinching considering the cost of the rooms. I had a service charge (removed without a quibble) added to my bar bill. Great venue for weddings, but this does impact on other guests.

"A comfortable stay"
It was a pre-booked one-night stay, following a week's holiday abroad. Our flight arrived late in the evening, so we wanted to spend the night locally, to recover.

"Lovely stay!"
The hotel is very central, 5 minutes away from the main restaurant and shopping areas. Staff are lovely and the rooms are so very comfortable. Specially the bed and the fact that even though it was quite busy, there was no noise at all. I will most definitely be returning soon.

"Fantastic location! Opposite the water front!"
Next door to sainsburys if you need any little extras! To be fair though they have everything thought of! Hair dryer, iron, breakfast, milk, water extras in the bathroom. The bed is quite firm but when you wake up you realise how nice its been to have such a firm mattress If you use the heating you will find half way through the night you need to turn it off as the place gets lovely and warm! The facilties to cook and dine are brilliant! Only one down fall, the tank for the hot water is very small! So if you like your showers, be prepare to wait 30 minutes to have the water hot again! Other than that would def stay again!

Other Attractions In Bristol - a Few Suggestions

Bristol is home to the grand Victoria Rooms, which, as the name would imply, were built at the turn of the Victorian period and were designed in a Greek Revival theme. The site, owned by the University of Bristol, organises concerts and other live performances throughout the year, and once played host to Charles Dickens.

Elegantly Designed Rooms with Premium Bedding

A City with Plenty of Pleasant Green Spaces

Bristol has a wide range of picturesque parks such as Snuff Mills, which features a former quarry and is known for its sizeable otter population residing on the River Frome. See Brunel's SS Great Britain

This mighty ship, which during a period of more than 170 years has sailed the world more than 30 times, was designed by the world-renowned engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. It's now one of Britain's most popular family attractions, where visitors can explore its decks and learn about what life would have been like aboard in its Victorian heyday.
