"junction 19 - very handy for our one night stay "
The room was fine for our one night : we were back late'sh that Saturday night & took the last available space in the hotel car park- not sure if they have an overflow area for when its full. Staff were helpful - room was a decent size - small bathroom but everything in there & clean. the rate wasn't too bad & would stay there again for a similar trip

Meadow Cottage

We're often flying from/to Bristol Airport and have found Meadow Cottage to be perfect for us. Its the ideal distance from the airport but with lovely, peaceful surroundings. Rooms with wi-fi were great and the early breakfast options suited us very well. Any time we've spoken with the staff we've found them to be very helpful and quick to provide any information we required. The later check in option was useful and very easy.

"Nice hotel close to city centre "
The staff were friendly polite and in formative. The room was spacious with two double beds. The breakfast was sufficient a variety of food cooked, cereals and good amount of breads. The only negative was the car parking fees. I enjoyed my stay.

"Privilege Room Stay on Friday Night"
Check in was quick and easy, the staff were pleasing. Great Location. The room looked great upon first impressions, however throughout the night we noticed minor problems. Lack of attention to detail, dust on top of pictures and skirting boards, paint dripped on toilet seat, hair in the shower, damp dressing gowns which made the wardrobe smell and dirty windows to look out of. Our room was on top of the foyer therefore our room over looked the roof which could do with a clean. We had noisy neighbours leaving at 8 in the morning, no consideration for others. We went down to reception to ask about the pool/ 'spa' and the lady on reception did not have a good understanding of the English language. The pool was cold and full of splashing children, we dipped in and got straight back out. Bed was a great size and very comfy. 3 cans of drink in the fridge because of the room type, not a great amount or selection for the extra money.

Avon Gorge Hotel

"Great edge of city location"
I wish I had upgraded to a room on the gorge side as the light and noise from the road made sleeping difficult. Other than that it was a very nice hotel.

"Excellent hotel for a weekend away"
This hotel is in the perfect location for a show at the Hippodrome and/or a night out in the bars and restaurants along the river. We have stayed here several times and the room has always been comfortable and clean. Staff always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the swimming pool and steam room as it was relatively quiet but I can imagine it must get busy over the summer months and you'll need to go very early or late to have space for a decent swim.

"Lovely grounds"
The hotel is very clean and the food in the brasserie is good. However, service is quite slow and checking out was also slow as not enough staff were on duty - not great if you need to leave for work commitments. However I would recommend this hotel.
