"Comfy apartment close to all amenities"
Spent a comfortable four nights in this well appointed apartment. Beds were good, if a little narrow for two tallish adults. Sitting room and kitchen area were well furnished and equipped. Two bathrooms were a boon. Two minutes walk from the bus station, taxi rank and bus stop for the most popular town circuit buses. Our apartment faced onto the garden at the back of the building - there may have been more traffic noise had we been facing the street. Seagulls join in the dawn chorus, so no alarm clock needed!

"Business stay for a few days"
I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights on a business trip. It was nice and the room was clean but not that spacious. The staff were lovely, and there is a retail park across with a supermarket and cafes, restaurants. The blanket had a stain on it and I expected them to change the duvet cover, but all what the did was flip it over! Housekeeping is kind of disappointing with that attitude. I would not recommend this place unless it is the last resort. The front desk staff were amazing though.

"Fantastic Location"
Stayed for a weekend with a friend (2 single bedrooms). Location excellent. Very clean. Staff really helpful, friendly & knowledgeable. Luxurious bedrooms. The spa/pool area isn't large but sufficient, clean, good facilities. The cost of car parking £16 per day is steep. Wifi is free in public area but over £4 per day in the rooms. Both of these are penny pinching considering the cost of the rooms. I had a service charge (removed without a quibble) added to my bar bill. Great venue for weddings, but this does impact on other guests.

"Central location for visiting city of Bristol. "
The hotel was well located for a three night visit to Bristol. Room was good size, beds were comfortable and bathroom was nice. Tea and coffee in room with biscuits was good. Only negative, room was at rear of hotel which meant noisy outside in mornings as deliveries and collections took place.

"Great hotel for a mid week stay"
This is a fine hotel, there's no doubt about it. My wife and I stayed there for just one night but would willingly go there for longer. The staff were so friendly from the moment we arrived to when we checked out. The food was excellent, as was the Bath brewed beer! The bed was just a little on the firm side but otherwise a perfect stay

"Better than expected"
This hotel was much better than I expected from past reviews. We heard it has been recently taken over by Malmaison, which might explain this. The setting is spectacular, overlooking the Avon Gorge. Our twin room was very spacious (Room 335), the décor fresh and modern. Breakfast with a wonderful view of Clifton Suspension Bridge and superb croissants. Staff were friendly and efficient. Great value, especially on Sunday night
