No problem with check in or check out. The room was good and the ensuite excellent with plenty of choice for breakfast, an excellent place to stay. Links into the city by bus were brilliant too
We've just enjoyed a couple of very nice days at this hotel. It's ideally placed to explore the city centre, the rooms are excellent and the staff great. My only complaint is that the bath hadn't been cleaned properly and I found myself in someone else's soap scum - not the end of the world but not ...
We stayed 2 nights and the service and the standard of the hotel was excellent . We had our bikes with us and they locked them in storage for us , we had a great stay and we will back again very impressed.
I wasn't sure what to expect but the overall experience of staying in a castle was great. Staff was friendly and attentive. My room was spacious and felt authentic with modern amenities. Breakfast was plentiful. Thornbury village(?) was a short walk away which was convenient, offering additional ...
Enjoyed our stay in this historic and austhetic place . has a great feel of the past . although no-one in attendance in the breakfast area while we were there, very much enjoyed the experience
This large hotel seems expensive for what it offers. The public rooms are spacious but the bedrooms and bathrooms are old fashioned and need updating. The charges for Wi-Fi and parking are extortionate so we didn't use them. The staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast was good.
Very nice hotel; very courteous staff; nice large room and large clean bathroom. Quiet and peaceful, especially given it is a pub as well. Good breakfast. Beautiful village.
Excellent Staff! Front desk manager Amy Greene and her staff made check in/out seamless and were so welcoming. They gave us great tips on local coffee places/sites to visit. Other staff wonderful. Parking structure adjacent/connected to hotel a plus. Room on upper floor with great views and very ...

See the charming 19th century Cabot Tower, have a wander around the regenerated Harbourside, then spend some time at the Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery before heading to the At-Bristol science exhibition.
You could also book tickets to Colston Hall, Bristol's leading concert venue, which organises various performances of classical music, jazz, rock and other music genres throughout the year.
