"Complimentary sherry!"
I love the fact that there is complimentary sherry and fruit in the rooms at this hotel - such a nice touch! The reception staff were friendly and the room very well equipped. A very handy location and all in all a very pleasant place to stay in Bristol.

Apart from the confusion created by the different booking websites for which I had to spend 30 min on phone to clarify it, everything else was very nice. The floor was squeaky and the kitchen smell in the morning coming from outside was not very impressive. Very nice room, clean and welcome. The breakfast was served in manner by attentive stuff. We received the key to the room and we could go out and return later in the night without any inconvenience. The hotel is 22 min away by car from Bristol city center. It was a pleasant stay and the price was good. I would recommend this hotel either for people passing by or for those who would need to be close to Bristol or Bath.

Pocket Guide: Boutique Hotels in Bristol

Thanks to their more intimate environment, where a smaller number of customers ensures staff can provide more attention to each guest, boutique hotels are still very popular with leisure and business travellers. At Bristol, you can find several that are catered to different budgets and provide easy access to the city's extensive array of tourist attractions and buzzing nightlife.

A Good Choice of Stylish Boutique Hotels in Bristol

Whatever venue you choose in the city, you'll benefit from excellent hospitality and comfortable, refined rooms designed to promote relaxation and make you feel right at home. Almost all hotels in Bristol offer WiFi access, often free of charge, so you can always stay connected with friends, family or work colleagues online via email or Skype.

If you're looking for ideas on where to stay, consider the pleasant three star Avon Gorge Hotel near the Clifton Suspension Bridge, or try the Brooks Guesthouse Bristol, close to the thriving St. Nicholas Marker in the city centre.

    Top Attractions in Bristol

No visit to Bristol would be complete without seeing the magnificent SS Great Britain, a pioneering steam ship that was completed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, an engineer who has been voted one of the greatest Britons of all time. It just so happens that Bristol is also home to another one of his masterpieces, the Clifton Suspension Bridge, which he designed in 1829, although sadly the construction of this bridge was delayed and Brunel did not live to see its completion in 1864.

See the handsome Cabot Tower, which is 32 metres high and has a prominent position on Brandon Hill, offering excellent panoramic views of Bristol. This charming landmark was purpose-built in the 1890s to mark the 400th anniversary of the excursion of John Cabot, who in 1497 set sail from the city to North America and became one of the first European explorers to see the New World.

A Quick Tip - Bristol Boutique Hotels with Baggage Storage

If you're arriving in Bristol well before your hotel's normal check-in time, or you have several hours to spare after check-out, you may be able to store your luggage at the hotel reception.
