"Weird mix of décor. Poor breakfast"
Room Ok but a bit pricey. Pool ok, but had to share with ante natal class. Had to set time an menu for breakfast when I checked in. the next morning it had obviously been cooked well before the set time, to tie in with the other 2 guests in the hotel - Poor

"Ideal stop for Clifton "
A mid class hotel with great reception staff and stylish restaurant. Restaurant prices on the high side for average food. Comfortable bed and great black out curtains. Bathroom pretty good but needed a little TLC. High quality smelliest and lots of super extras in the bedroom.

"Excellent hotel in the middle of Bristol "
Excellent hotel in every way. Not cheap but good value. Staff very helpful and welcoming. My only complaint is that service at breakfast is rather slow.

"Amazing food and amazing staff"
Arrived and the greeting was very warm. Had our bags carried to our room which was nice as we had a few suitcases and 2 kids to contend with. Room was beautiful, very modern and had everything you needed. Went downstairs for food, which was beautiful and they even made us sandwiches as we were leaving early so missed breakfast. Only a 5 min drive to the airport then.

"Well kept secret"
Nice surprise to find a Mezze Restaurant as part of the hotel. Room was clean and tidy although a little chilly when I arrived, turning the radiator up sorted that out. Very pleasant staff and the booking in and out was easy and un-eventful East striking distance to Bristol. Would recommend the hotel

Pocket Guide: Boutique Hotels in Bristol

Thanks to their more intimate environment, where a smaller number of customers ensures staff can provide more attention to each guest, boutique hotels are still very popular with leisure and business travellers. At Bristol, you can find several that are catered to different budgets and provide easy access to the city's extensive array of tourist attractions and buzzing nightlife.

A Good Choice of Stylish Boutique Hotels in Bristol

Whatever venue you choose in the city, you'll benefit from excellent hospitality and comfortable, refined rooms designed to promote relaxation and make you feel right at home. Almost all hotels in Bristol offer WiFi access, often free of charge, so you can always stay connected with friends, family or work colleagues online via email or Skype.

If you're looking for ideas on where to stay, consider the pleasant three star Avon Gorge Hotel near the Clifton Suspension Bridge, or try the Brooks Guesthouse Bristol, close to the thriving St. Nicholas Marker in the city centre.

    Top Attractions in Bristol

No visit to Bristol would be complete without seeing the magnificent SS Great Britain, a pioneering steam ship that was completed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, an engineer who has been voted one of the greatest Britons of all time. It just so happens that Bristol is also home to another one of his masterpieces, the Clifton Suspension Bridge, which he designed in 1829, although sadly the construction of this bridge was delayed and Brunel did not live to see its completion in 1864.

See the handsome Cabot Tower, which is 32 metres high and has a prominent position on Brandon Hill, offering excellent panoramic views of Bristol. This charming landmark was purpose-built in the 1890s to mark the 400th anniversary of the excursion of John Cabot, who in 1497 set sail from the city to North America and became one of the first European explorers to see the New World.

A Quick Tip - Bristol Boutique Hotels with Baggage Storage

If you're arriving in Bristol well before your hotel's normal check-in time, or you have several hours to spare after check-out, you may be able to store your luggage at the hotel reception.
