Beautifully appointed rooms, comfortable beds, soft, warm linens, amply sized bathroom with rain shower and excellent water pressure. "Very nice, quiet place to stay on a busy street. They were very nice to allow me to check in early. Really just to drop my bag. The door on the street looks a bit drab; but, once you're in it's very clean and comfortable. Shower pressure was strong, so nice to have."

"There was no parking near this B&B. We parked in a parking garage near the waterfront at the entrance to the island of Ortega for 15 euro/day. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the B&B and is worth the walk d/t it’s central location. We also did not have breakfast on site but were given coupons for a nearby cafe. This happened to us a couple of times this trip & we are wondering if it is because November is slower season & it is easier for the host to give out coupons in lieu of preparing...

"I thought the location so close to the train and bus station and within easy walking distance of Ortigia could not be beaten. The bathroom was the best I experienced in Italy and it was great being able to make my own dinner in the kitchen instead of going out at night. It was weird not having a person there to talk to but when I needed help twice the owner responded to my texts and solved my problem. It was great value for the price. I would recommend it to my friends. "

"It’s an older building, which is to be expected of course. The space (bathroom & bedroom) were really nice and sizable compared to many European rooms we’ve encountered. It’s just due for a bit of an update in my opinion, but I would happily stay there again. Great location and nice value!"

"Fiori and her husband were amazing hosts and took excellent care of us when an unexpected repair meant we couldn't have the room we booked. They went out of their way to accommodate us, truly first class service! The place itself is lovely, breakfasts were delicious and the location is perfect - easy to explore all of Ortigia or to walk to the train station. Can't recommend staying here enough!!! "Beautiful property located 10 minutes from Ortigia and the city of Syracuse, best to have a car. Grounds are impeccable and you can easily spend your days by the enormous pool. Breakfast is great and staff is pleasant. Rooms are super clean we smelled the cleaning products as we walked in. Air condition unit seems to need some maintenance, but still worked. If you are looking for great beaches and have a car, this is the place, within an hour or less you are at the isola delle correnti...
