Directly between the train station and Ortigia. Easy walking to many different restaurants. We very much enjoyed our short stay here and the daily activities hosted by the Hotel. My only iffy thing was the tiles in the bathroom (the shower specifically) seemed a bit older and maybe not as cleanly as it could be, but all in all the room was quite nice. Our stay in Ortigia was enhanced by the staff at the Dorus Mariae Albergo. I can't comment on breakfast, as we opted to have brunch at a nearby Bistro, but this is in no way a comment on the breakfasts at the hotel; this is simply how we like to holiday. Overall, a wonderful experience here, with wonderful staff in an absolutely beautiful location."
