"Great location. Room was clean, but on the small side. Interesting bathroom, but was clean and worked fine. Staff was helpful. They stored bags for me until I could check in. There was a restaurant and bar. It looked ok, but I neither ate nor drank there, too many options near by. The lobby was pretty drab. The entrance was almost unnoticeable. Good value considering the location "

"The location was perfect for walking the city and night life. The shower was spacious and had very hot water. Plenty of outlets. Very nice customer service with baggage storage for before and after your stay. We were in the attached/second building and our room was very cold. The thermostat did not seem to work but the bed and room as a whole was very comfortable. "

"Excellent hotel. I always try to stay here when in Edinburgh for work. But for how long? £220 per night is completely extortionate. I could not afford to stay here as an independent traveller, nor could I justify it. "

"Parking was convenient, unlike many hotels in Great Britain. The airport shuttle was available if we had not had a rental car. Our room was lovely and comfortable, with efficient and friendly staff. This is a gorgeous hotel with excellent breakfast choices."
