"Did not receive the key code. Tried to call (says 24 hours in advance!?) but no reply. Funny that, could still book the rooms in the same area with them at 8pm on the same night! How does that work? Had to drive home 2 hours in the rain, tired, and cancel my plans with my son for the next day. Won't be using Expedia again. My son aslo said the room had 1 star, stock photos and mould! "

Despite the appealing pictures, the reality is quite different. The shower cubicle is broken, leading to a flooded bathroom every time it's used. The kitchen needed to be cleaned. "My code didn’t work on either door but it was resolved very quickly via text. I won’t hold that against them as it’s just an admin error. The room I was given first hadn’t had cleaned but again, they resolved it within seconds via text. I’d say don’t be put off if you have to text them, there’s cameras in the communal areas and they can easily help out. I enjoyed my stay overall and if I find myself here again, I would use it. It’s not for hotel snobs or the easily annoyed Karen’s of this world, but if you need somewhere to lay your hat south of the river, it beats the ridiculous prices that have affected all accommodation since COVID. "
