"I booked a room that had no windows as I was looking fir a cheap place to stay near centre of London but wouldn't be in it much. Friendly welcome from reception staff. Room was very basic but clean & functional. I have given 4 & not 5 stars only because the plug sockets were in far corner away from the bed which meant I cud not have phone or any other devices in use whilst charging when I was in the bed as the socket was too far away. "The room was ok for 1 night, wouldn’t have liked any longer. The room was very small, cleanliness poor. The place is in need of updating. On the plus side the beds very comfortable and clean. We have stayed here before in triple room ( not in basement) and it was far better. "

"Like the option of capsule bed type accommodation and this was fine with locker space and no shortage of toilets and showers. Check in was very friendly and helpful. I was staying on 1st floor - only downside was live music from bar below was quite noisy for a time - finishing somewhere around midnight. Hostel was very close to Borough and London Bridge and convenient to Tube and Railway. Lots of buses too"

"Friendly. Comfortable beds. We had a whole room to ourselves with family of 5. Shared toilets, showers, kitchens and common room. Noisy with music from pub beliw, but fine with earplugs."

"Good price for the location. In a quiet area so a good night's sleep was no problem but was central enough with plenty shops and restaurants within a 5 minite walk. Its seen better days and could maybe do with a bit of a refurbishment, however it was clean enough."
