"Could use a little TLC"
Having stayed in other hotels in the same street, this hotel was typical of those in this price range, clean, pleasant staff, comfortable bed. The cooked breakfast left a lot to be desired, but that could just have been mine, it could have been the last items left under the hot lamp before fresh food was cooked as those that followed had a better looking breakfast. as those that followed had a better looking breakfast. This is a very old building as can be experience by the sloping (left to right) staircase that takes you from the 1st to the second (2nd to 3rd for US visitors) floors, very unbalancing. Overall I could not complain too much as the price was very agreeable and for what you got for that price was OK. 7 out of 10 for that price range.
