"Beautiful Hotel with the friendliest staff"
The hotel was wonderful and the concierge was outstanding and helpful. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly. The only issue we had was with the cleaning staff not restocking out room. The room was cleaned, but coffee, tea cakes, and items eaten in the cash bar weren't replaced, so we had to call down a couple times to get things we were missing. Also, there was not blanket or sheet available to use if we didn't want to use the big thick and hot comforter.

"So convenient"
Sits adjacent to central train station and is a drop off point for the airport bus shuttle. Right downtown. Welcome staff was great and allowed us into our room early (11 am). Nice bar and restaurant in the hotel, looking out into the terminal. We could walk everywhere. The hotel is old but the rooms were fine, clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again when in Glasgow.

"Great location "
Perfectly positioned in the city centre, this hotel has been created in an interesting old building. Many of the original features have been retained making it quite quirky. It still has an old cage lift in perfect working order. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, small but with good facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent value. This is the second time I've stayed here and I will definitely be back.

"Nice room, traveling through Glasgow for 1 night"
Booked this hotel because we traveled back to Glasgow for one night to catch an early flight back to London. This hotel was reasonably priced. We did not interact with much staff (check-in is automated) but had no problems. Room was simple and clean. Used the bar for some drinks before going to the city for dinner (only weird part was they only had USA beers on tap- don't mind some USA beers on tap but being from USA wanted to drink and support local beers). Overall stay was fine. Note- I think this is a hotel used by locals because they offer deals due to the events they host or have onsite often- this is not a bad thing at all just note it is a happening place. Met all our needs.

"Not bad"
Not on a par with Malmaison Aberdeen or Leeds but still pleasant. Room booked through Expedia was on the small (and dark) side. We noted other comments about the road noise and were concerned when at 1am, what sounded like a racing car on Brands Hatch revved up outside our door but this turned out to be the only incident. Front desk staff were "ok", restaurant and bar staff were outstanding.
