"Excellent hotel in Glasgow "
Excellent hotel from the minute we got there, very welcoming staff the minute the door is opened for you by the doorman to the minute you leave the staff were excellent, the only thing that could possibly be improved on was the breakfast I was expecting a little better for a 5 star hotel but a very welcoming hotel

Crossbasket Castle

"Beautiful property!!"
The castle just recently opened up for individual stays (had been only available to venue hire out in the last year)...and thankfully it did. Our room was wonderfully plush, every detail thought of and impeccably decorated and clean. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Every inch of the property is gorgeous...can't say enough about it.

"Close to theatres and restaurants "
Checking in was quick and easy there was a member of staff to help if needed, the room was small compared to other hotels but was big enough for a one night stay loved the shower/toilet room and the use of a mini Ipad to control everything was great. The road outside is very busy till late buses run constantly so can be noisey we heard them at 3 am.There are plenty of pubs bars restaurants in the area and George Square is only 5 minutes away.

"Nostalgia in the middle of the City"
The style and décor of the Grand Central Hotel is a reminder of days gone by. A time when life was enjoyed and appreciated rather than rushing into tomorrow. The lady at check in made me feel appreciated and as though I was home. I have been on the road for 8 years travelling on business and every now and then I meet people who make me feel special in their beautiful hotel. Just one down side, I am super picky but the chambermaids should their extend their cleaning regime to the areas less seen(behind the furniture!)

Hotel is great and was really handy and great value for just a week before Xmas. Everything worked out well and I'll definitely stay again. The lift in the hotel is an old, original cage lift and is absolutely beautiful..

Village Hotel Glasgow

7 Festival Gate, Glasgow - Map

"A good building "
Room was comfortable and building felt solid, with good sound insulation. We heard no noise from other guests and slept well. Breakfast offered sufficient variety to satisfy those who like fruit, yoghurt and muesli, as well as unlimited quantity of fried things to satisfy the face-stuffers. I cannot recommend the evening meals, which seemed expensive for what was offered from a rather sticky-to-handle old menu, so we did not eat there.

"A relaxing and enjoyable stay close to finneston"
We went to Glasgow for the Mucha exhibition at the kelvingrove museum and gallery . The malmaison was an enjoyable and ideal place to stay close to finneston and it's great bars and cafes and the kelvingrove . Equidistant from the centre of town and all the sights and attractions there. The room was a beautiful , the staff friendly and helpful and breakfast was really really good. We stayed at request in the old section and the room was sumptuous . The staff on reception couldn't be more helpful . I booked on the train on Expedia on the train a few hours from Glasgow . It could not have been better. Recommended and we will be back .
