We had a wonderful stay at the Lakes hotel, the location is perfect just a short walk to the main town. The staff are excellent. The hotel is beautiful, especially the outside terrace which we were lucky enough to enjoy as the weather was so good. Would definitely recommend and return.

Lovely friendly people who went out of their way to make me and my children feel welcome especially the lady who served the breakfasts. Nice room with new shower walking distance around 20 minutes to the lake and 3 minutes to the shops cafes and restaurants of Windermere. We had a great time.
