"The house itself was loveley. Very clean and comfortable, and within a short walking distance of Windermere town centre. Ample parking for two cars. However, the house is located in a rather run down area of the town, next to a park where youths gathered in the evening. On two seperate evenings the house was pelted with eggs, and on one occasion an egg was thrown into the house through the open patio doors. We found this very disturbing, and it spoliled our holiday overall. We did not want to...

"Couldn’t fault the property whatsoever, only downside to the stay was workman digging up the road outside from 8-5 each day which also restricted access to the property. Not a fault of the host of course but needed to leave the property during the day as couldn’t hear yourself think when workers working. "

"This is a fantastic property only a short walk away from the ferry piers in Bowness. The property has excellent facilities with a modern kitchen open plan to living room, a games room with pool table and chest of board games and outside there is a badminton court, hot tub and sauna.
