"Overall a disappointing stay. We booked this hotel on the basis it was very well reviewed and it didn’t live up to our expectations. Communication was good in advance of our stay. Having informed them of our arrival in advance our room wasn’t available to check in to. We were offered a welcome drink during the wait but only after asking how long our room would take to be ready. The room itself was good but let down by the drain smell in our room which required us to keep the bathroom door...

The outside space in the picture on the rooftop has signs that say only for property owners. Which make it unclear if it’s available for use as a renter. Beds are very nice. "Great place to stay. We were absolutely comfortable here. Was just perfect for what we needed. Solid, comfortable, clean and the location was 5 stars. Fantastic pubs nearby and classic breakfast place nearby. We had too short of a trip but we would stay here again in a heartbeat."
