"Cheerful greeting on arrival. Easy check in. Room on first impressions was very nice - not huge but certainly had everything one needed. Housekeeping could have done a better job at replacing used items such as vanity kit and tissues, also they didn't remove dirty tea cups. Very comfy bed and nice shower and toiletries. Breakfast on the first 2 days was good. Jack looked after us well with a very friendly, helpful manner. Our third morning was a disaster. Yes it was busier as it was a Saturday but the wheels had definitely come off in the kitchen. Smashed Avocado with Poached Eggs was nothing like it had been on the first morning. In fact I had to send it back as their was a pool of water when I touched the egg and the "toast" was soggy. The replacement omelette was made by a very lazy chef. None of the ingredients were pre-cooked and just "dumped" in the middle of an overcooked omelette. Such a shame it ruined our last morning. Other than that I would highly recommend the hotel as it is perfectly situated within easy walking distance of everything."
