"We visited Broughty Ferry as I still have family there. I was born and brought up in Dundee and latterly my parents moved to Broughty Ferry to live. As we now live in the Midlands it is very difficult for us to visit very often but we had a most enjoyable stay at the Estuary Apartment. And would definitely book it again if and when we visit Broughty Ferry"

The Old Jewellers, Cottage near St Andrews

Family visit

"We have been coming to this area once or twice a year for 23 years. My son and his family, live in the area. We are from the United States. We prefer the self catering rather than the bed and breakfast type places because we are jet lagged and tend to sleep in. We also don’t eat a large breakfast. So this type of stay allows us to not bother our family and we have all the comforts of home. It also serves as a home base so we can have day trips and have a place to come back to and rest. We also love the pubs close by. Also the restaurant at Cobbies the Kitchinn, has fantastic food! Also the Harbour Cafe! The only con we would have to say is that we were chilly most of the time we were there. There were directions by the thermostat but we couldn’t seem to turn the heating up. It was a cooler than normal cold spell. Even with that we would happily stay here again. Just maybe bring your slippers and an extra fleece. All in all it is a lovely place!"
