Great location steps from the Old Course. Easy walk to the university and shops and restaurants. Check in was frustrating with no staff M-W. Self guided check in requires 3 unique door codes with poor instruction to get into room. Otherwise room was great and breakfast/coffee was excellent. Would stay again now that I know how to get into the room.

The staff was very attentive and courteous. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and well appointed with necessities. The location was ideal, right in the center of St. Andrews and down the street from the Old Course and shops. The food was delicious, the breakfast was inclusive with our stay. We also booked dinner and it was such a treat! The presentation, the intimate setting, and the food was delicious. We highly recommend the Haar for a place to stay and eat!

The staff here are top notch. The location was also incredible. A very nice breakfast was included with our room. The bed was very comfortable and the room/bathroom clean and modern. The shower was pretty small and, as mentioned in other reviews, there is no lift. Parking can be difficult to find.

The property was so close to the Old Course. Easy walk. I would also recommend at least having a drink at Rusacks Bar. It is a real experience. The stairs at the hotel are a little tuff. Other than that, wonderful for a short visit to St. Andrew.
