"What an amazing little find. I wanted to move in. I was with my daught god daughter and daughter god mum for a girls day at Alton towers. Sarah communication was amazing fro the off and the room was fantastic just what we wanted. Home comforts after a horric journey on day one and a thrills filled adrenline fueled day following day. The comforts of the room were just what we need to have an amazing nights sleep witb a filling fueld breakfast.

"What makes this place is the hospitality and the lovely friendly owners. I was made to feel so welcome. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was superb with the best fresh coffee!! "

Clean room with very comfortable bed and hot bath/shower.
The bar restaurant area is wonderfully historic and very atmospheric.
The menu is superb and the bar has a good selection of real ales.
All in all a very pleasant place to stay."

"Staff were excellent.
The breakfast option is only a packed lunch as stated just to be aware, but next to the services.
The second bed (to make a twin) is quite uncomfortable in being a sofa bed.
The bath water wont cover your thighs without going over the overflow.
Very cheap however which is why still a 4*"

"This beautiful listed building is set in very peaceful and calm grounds. The staff are really helpful and friendly. We loved the jacuzzi, swimming pool and sauna. The owners have plans to update the rooms whilst keeping the wonderful character of the hotel. We loved our stay here."
