"Great Hotel"
Wonderful hotel in great location with golf course, rooms on the small side but clean and comfy with good bathroom. The windows open only a fraction so hard to get fresh air into the room, this should be improved / looked at. Breakfast good, standard English, helpful staff! The hotel facilities are very good, warm swimming pool, sauna and cold shower, the steam room was out of order when we were there, the swimming pool area should be cleaned every evening. I know for sure it wasn't as I was last to use the pool on one eve and one of the few guest to use first thing in the morning and there was still cups left under chairs, and even in the cold shower area, and small rubbish left on the floor by the pool.

"Great Location"
Fab location close to shopping centre and Telford International Centre. Room lovely, immaculate clean bathroom, couldn't fault it. Staff very helpful. Only thing that let it down was great breakfast, but wasn't the warmest. Sort that out and they've cracked it. Only other thing was we didn't have more time to spend to have dinner and get full use of leisure facilities. Maybe next time!

"Father Day Gift"
My children got me a ticket to the Cosford Air Show, rather than having to get up early my wife and I decided to book a room near to the event. Expedia came up with the Bookatree Hall Hotel, after reading through the reviews and the proximity of the hotel to the event we went ahead and booked. The whole process was very easy and the updates from Expedia were very good and kept us informed. When we arrived at the Hotel the first thing that met us was the peaceful and beautiful location, one thing that did concern us was there was a wedding on. However our concerns were put to rest as the reception was held in a different part of the hotel and as for the disco noise we could not hear anything. the staff were friendly and nothing was too much for them if you had any questions or wanted any info on the nearest shops, petrol station etc. We decided to have a meal at the Hotel and I have to say the food was excellent and reasonably priced too. The room was very good and clean, my said it was one of the best nights sleep she has had in a long while. I would highly recommend the Buckatree Hall Hotel and if we go to Cosford Air Show next year this is the place where we stay at.

"Warm welcome and good food"
Our stay was very enjoyable from the start. Check in was efficient and we were offered a choice of rooms. Our evening meal was tasty and plentiful, beware portions are generous! Our room was comfortable and had lots of little extras such as some chocolates and biscuits plus bottles of water. Breakfast was terrific. I recommend the thick cut bacon, but everything was well cooked and again generous.

"Quaint Inn"
Quaint is one way of describing the Bird in Hand. The decor of the room and the bar and restaurant area were slightly dated with lots of knick knacks etc. but both were comfortable and made for relaxing evenings. There was no reception area as such and I had to ring the door bell of the pub to gain the attention of a member of staff. Access to the bedrooms is at the rear of the premises and I was provided with a key to the back door as well as to the room. This suited me as I like to get out early to take photographs. The stairs are very steep and would not suit someone with mobility problems. This also applies to the steps from the car park to the pub. My room (4) was quite small but adequate for a short stay. The bar and restaurant were also quite small but this gave a pleasant intimate feel. The menu was quite extensive but not very adventurous. Good solid pub grub. One night I had local Shropshire pork chops which were delicious and on the second night I had one of the best steaks I have ever had.
