Will not be revisiting!
This is not my first time staying at the Catalonia. In fact, I was there four years ago. However, the culture has changed drastically. One of the things I hated the most were the peddlers. As we walked, the resort, we were consistently bombarded with people trying to sell us stuff. No, was never enough. If you said no to one peddler, the other would ask. This behavior infuriated my fiance and I. This was a continuous consequence throughout our stay.
To add insult to injury, the overall service was lousy. However, a tip was expected regardless of excellent or terrible service, and it was mostly terrible. The onsite restaurants were mediocre except the Japanese restaurant.
I will never return to this resort!
