We would like to remind you that the Hotel is not responsible for securities that are not properly stored in a digital safe provided by the hotel free of charge and with a password known only to the customer. Since only the briefcase was found in the safe and you said you did not remember if you took your computer with you when you made the change of room, the case was closed because there was no responsibility of the staff. Nice All-inclusive Hotel

The Yuca Caribbean Cuisine restaurant had very rude staff. Would not recommend. Aside from that, great trip!

Very very nice beach and pool

Great hotel, food above average, rooms just ok but the hotel beautiful has very nice beach and nice pool landscape is wow! Stuff very friendly great for families

Nice hotel close to the beach but terrible service

Let's just say you get what you pay for...my husband and I took a last minutes trip. We got a great deal on it so we were excited. The resort itself is beautiful, filled with palm trees water flowers very well-kept outside very close to the beach or just swimming pool bar inside the pool was very nice. However the staff was super unfriendly very dirty very unhelpful. The food was absolutely terrible usually going into the resort you think you're going to gain weight on the contrary I think I would lose weight. Basically ate french fries and chicken that's all that was fresh. The shows were nice though, Casino was nice so overall it was a nice day only for four days but I wouldn't have wanted to be there anymore the rooms were always dirty even after they had clean them there was never a toilet paper or clean towels. The beach is beautiful! Very close to the hotel only experience my husband and I really enjoyed worth it just for the beach.

Clean and nice hotel

Very nice resort! Rooms were great and clean! Stayed in the privileged section so rooms were upgraded. Staff was super friendly and willing to help in any way needed. Only complaint was the food wasn't exactly the greatest. Did the paddle board yoga and aerobics with Eddie and had a blast! He was great! Plenty of chairs at the beach and pool area. Never felt crowded.

Privileged Honeymoon Suite

Pros: Privileged Suites, separate beach access, Pearl Nighclub
Cons: you need better softer beds - no excuse for them to not be top of the line
Location: Golf, Beach, Ocean - Everything
We booked a Privileged Honeymoon Suite at the Catalonia Bavaro site and not the Adult Side. It has more people, there were very few kids, and the activities are greater, and open longer hours at night, and allowed utilization of Pearl Nightclub next door. This place is spread out, and the walking is very enjoyable if you get the Privileged in the Villa #2 it has the best location being the closest to the beach, while at the same time being the closest to the pool. I would not stay here if not in the Privileged section, you get separate VIP beach access, separate VIP eating area's, as well as better liquor as well. Please do not forget to bring stacks of singles to tip and you will live like a king. Golf at the 18 hole course, and you might as well skip the casino it's soooo small - we will come back to this resort next year as well.

Nice vacation!!!

Pros: The beach, specialty restaurants and the grounds.
Cons: The bathroom shower and nice large tube had very little water pressure and it took a long time for the water to become hot. Still good trip.
Location: We went on the boogie adventure, dirty but great to see real life in the Dominican. We are outdoors people so the dirt did not bother us.
It was a great place to stay celebrating 22 years of marriage. Beautiful grounds and the staff very nice. I would recommend spending the extra money for privileged suites. This allows more amenities and you will be able to visit the al a carte restaurants, which are great. I am glad we made the investment in this package. We will be back.

Beautiful grounds but some issues.

Our bed was broke, air didn't work very well, the refrigerators in the rooms could use some work or be replaced. Some of the staff were awful and from what I gathered just don't like Americans or maybe American women. Particularly one of the women making crepes on the beach. Super rude to not only me but our friends that had stayed as well.. Also a server in the Yuka restaurant was not very nice. Otherwise most staff was great and very friendly. The food was awful in almost all restaurants but the buffet wasn't even edible. So much food wasted!! I found it sort of funny there was a dress code for these restaurants because the food was certainly nothing to get excited about. But from what I hear that seemed to be at all the hotels in punta cana. The room service breakfast was ok.. better then the buffet. The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning. The beach is beautiful. Entertainment was fun at night. Would go back to punta cana but maybe not to this resort.
