"I personally thought it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had but at the end I got charged for a spa treatment that I thought it was free and frankly I regret to have it. My mom thought we were paying only $40 x person and having $400 bonus I thought it was covered but we paid $300 for 3 treatments that included a sauna, a water massage and a massage for, that I thought it was too much. First of all I am a paraplegic and since I can’t stand up I only got the massage compare to my mom that also got the water massage and our friend that got the sauna too on top of the other treatments. But they got our receipts signed by us so we couldn’t complain. Next time I won’t use the bonus. But everything else was fabulous, except the night show that they were changing the spot were they were doing it all the time so we could see only 2 but frankly was more than enough because at the end of the night we were all tired and we couldn’t wait to go back to sleep in our rooms because the daily entertainment was so good and we couldn’t wait to do it"

"The hotel has a wonderful staff who are incredibly friendly and helpful. We were very well taken care of throughout our stay. That said, I do want to be honest and mention that while part of the property has been renovated, another part still needs significant updates. I would say that about one-third of the hotel has already been renovated, while the remaining areas are still waiting to be updated. They are definitely moving in the right direction, but there is still work to be done. The most important thing to keep in mind, however, is the average age of the guests. I would estimate that most visitors are in their late 50s, 60s, or older. So, if you’re expecting a lively atmosphere with lots of younger couples, this probably isn’t the right place for you."

"The property was beautiful. The food was good. The rooms were comfortable. The primary issues were with the staff. I had added another guest to my reservation. When I arrived, they had no record of the second guest. It took a solid 30 minutes to finally sort it out. We tried booking a couples massage. They forgot to update us and it never happened. One morning we had a 6:30 am excursion. The night before, they assured us that they could prepare us a sack lunch to take with us. They even described that they would make us sandwiches etc. When we went to pick it up the next morning, it was only fruit. The general consensus was there was a lack of organization with the staff. One person would tell us one thing while another would tell us something different. The other issue is that only some restaurants are open on certain days. The restaurant staff worked hard and were friendly, but as someone who’s worked in restaurants, they were definitely understaffed on their waiters."

"Roberto met us as we arrived. He gave us a tour of the house and how everything worked. We only used the TV for music, as all of our time was spent outside. The grounds and pool were breathtaking! The pool was cleaned everyday and someone even came and cleaned the house mid week. It is very family friendly! The walk into town was super easy! If you didn’t want to walk, there bikes you could ride. There were many great restaurants in town! The people in town were super friendly! I would recommend staying at Casa Del Sol! It wasn’t just me that lived the house and area. There were 7 adults and 6 children. I think they all agreed this was one if not our best family vacation’"

"This house in Puerto Morelos is amazing. The inside is comfortable and had plenty of room for 9 adults 2 children and one infant. The pool is so well kept and very clean. You are 50 yards from the ocean. So all day you can swim in the ocean then hit the pool. The caretaker and his team are attentive to every need. They offer a chef who cooked three meals for us that were fantastic. The easy proximity to the city gave us lots to do. This house is a great rental."
