"Hotel was nice enough and the staff really friendly, however two things stood out and affected my visit.
The drain in the shower stunk, and I had to keep the bathroom light on so the fan would dull the smell. During breakfast the ladies who were lovely, asked if I wanted a tea or coffee, I would respond, they would then forget and this happened 3 or 4 times and didn’t end up receiving the coffee. I think this hotel potential had a grand past, but its quite tired now."
"Very unique old mansion complete with eclectic wall to wall art, probably original furniture and uneven/squeaky floors. Only part upgraded were bathrooms. Living room space fits a group nicely. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Interior needs some help with musty/moldy odor.
Beds could use some newer mattresses, not very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Limited communication with staff, especially at checkin. One visit was good enough for us. "
