"Room was ok but needed a hoover. Not been done for a few days. Towels and bedding were clean. Breakfast was included in price, but failed to mention not a hot meal. Cereals, yogurt and toast only. Cooked breakfast was extra. No mention of this when booking. Staff were pleasant. Room with balcony had very good views. No venue parking, just in the public car park across the way. Overall 3/5. "
"Breakfast was excellent. Location great for Swansea Bay Area and Wales national pool, reason for stay.
Could do with some blackout blinds.
Overall a lovely place to stay at."
"Amazing as we remember it when we last came 9 years ago, had a Warm Welcome on arrival from Tracy's Son and we stayed in exactly the same room as we did 9 years ago. Room was beautiful and spotlessly clean in such a peaceful location. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely, filled me for the day, my Partner had Welsh Rarebit which she said was stunning. Looking at returning again next year, we won't leave it another near decade until next time, 10/10! "
"Tony & Chris are fantastic hosts. They have a beautiful property decorated to a very high standard. The rooms and bathrooms are fantastic. The rooms are large and have a fridge and tea tray in the rooms.
The property is in walking distance of the village and Emlyn Hotel where we were attending a wedding. We loved our stay and highly recommend this property. We will definitely be back k to stay again! "

Brilliant reception staff who came up to room to check my room key worked."
The most popular time to visit Llanarthney is during the summer months, particularly July, when the countryside is in full bloom and the weather is pleasantly warm. During the peak season, from June to August, Llanarthney attracts visitors eager to experience its charm and tranquillity. The mild climate offers the great backdrop for leisurely strolls through the picturesque village or along the banks of the River Towy. You'll find plenty of opportunities to indulge in local attractions, such as the beautiful gardens of Aberglasney and the historic Dinefwr Castle, both of which are particularly enchanting in the summer sunlight.
For families looking to create lasting memories, July is an excellent time to enjoy local festivals and events that celebrate the region's culture and heritage.
