"Room was very clean as was the bathroom/shower. i did have a problem with the kettle keep cutting out mid boil. Also one of the lamp switches by the bed was missing. The staff were very helpful and polite."

"Gorgeous property, entrance, bar, decorations in the communal spaces all lovely. However, what I would call top show. We stayed in a room within the old building, which to be honest could do with updating. Carpets a bit on the weary side, internal doors not the best, bathroom needs upgrading, old bath either shower over, small head etc. bathroom window did not have an opening. Given our dinner was delicious we were let down by the Breakfast which was average and not what was expected of such an establishment. Pastries soft, buffet breakfast was pretty tough, scrambled egg, never had worse in fact it could have been powdered. Swimming pool was great along with the sauna, steam room etc. Overall we had a lovely time but improvements can be made."

"Ibis Styles Crewe was ideal for a short stay in Crewe and Nantwich at a reasonable rate. The room was clean and comfortable. The soundproofing could be better, as noise carried easily through the corridor when early risers were leaving and late arrivals were checking in. There was also a function/party taking place during our stay, and the noise from it was audible from our room. It didn't affect our sleep too much, but it would have been helpful to have been informed about it in advance. When I asked the staff when the event was expected to finish, they weren't particularly reassuring, and a clearer response would have given more confidence that it wouldn't disrupt our night."

"This is a fabulous apartment and we would highly recommend it – spacious and comfortable, attractively decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean and with a stylish kitchen that’s far better equipped than our own. Beverley, our host, had generously left us tea, coffee and milk supplies and treated us to some lovely snacks and wine. Thank you! Communication with Beverley was excellent. She kept us fully informed at every stage of the process and was very quick to respond to queries. She lives locally but we didn’t need to call upon her during our stay as everything ran perfectly.The apartment’s historical connection made it a really quirky and interesting place to stay. Its location is perfect – five minutes walk from the river and town centre, and five minutes walk in the other direction to the canal. We didn’t use the car once (there’s a car parking space at the rear of the building, which is also where you access the apartment). There are lots of good places to eat and drink on the walk into town. The apartment’s location is excellent, in fact it couldn’t have been better – so close to everything and yet so wonderfully peaceful and quiet. It even has its own private courtyard garden off the lounge - a lovely, secluded place to sit and relax in the midst of carefully-tended plants and greenery.A fantastic place that we wouldn’t hesitate to return to!"

"Clean comfortable room with individually operated heater and useful kitchen area. (Microwave , fridge/freezer, kettle). Comfy bed and quiet at night. Nice shower room with towels provided and the added touch of tea, coffee etc and hand soap and shower gel in bathroom. TV always a plus. Overall clean and comfortable and very close to town centre. "
