"First of all, I want to start with the fact that the experience manager luis, front desk Andrei, customer guide margarita, were all very very helpful and worked to make our experience as good as it could be. But after finishing out our vacation, I can’t help but say that was not the experience we expected or wanted as our baby moon. 1. When you walk in, you are almost forced into a breakfast with the Premium Tour Group to listen to their pitch. It happens so quick after check in, that they make it seem like it’s part of the service. But it’s not. They were nice, but felt like a waste of our time. 2. They rejected our entry to a mexican casual restaurant because I was wearing Oofos sandals. My wife was wearing the exact same pair but they said she was fine, but it wasn’t for me. Then they proceeded to let three couples go in without even checking their footwear, which they were wearing nike flip flops, adidas slides, and another pair of flip flops. This led to us going up to the front desk, complain, and at that point it wasn’t even worth it. The experience manager luis did his best to accommodate us but that host from the mexican restaurant at 4/30, I don’t know what her name is but was fairly large in stature, I can’t help but say she was discriminating us and was inconsistent with her “dress code” 3. Their rooms are VERY humid. The pillows are damp the whole time. 4. The staff just comes in without knocking. All things considered, we will look elsewhere from now on"

"The room was lovely and well stocked with drinks and small snacks. As well as a plate of fresh fruit and champagne for being an Expedia gold member. The mattress and pillows were super comfy. The biggest perks were the staff and the property. Everyone was so helpful and kind and the entire place was absolutely pristine. There were always plenty of loungers available at the pools and the beach. I do wish they had more permanent shade options on the beach as it was too windy for the umbrellas and I got crazy burnt, but I didn't want to miss out on the beach!"

"I want to preface this by saying the resort itself is beautiful and the premium experience events team are truly fantastic and attentive, but I cannot in good conscience leave without warning other guests. During a 3 night stay $216 was stolen from my purse while I was staying here. This was not a case of leaving my valuables out in the open, my purse was tucked away amongst my belongings, so for someone to have taken money from it means they went through my things deliberately. My coin slot was left open, and my ID and debit cards were rearranged, so this was an intentional act of theft. The feeling of having your personal belongings searched through without your knowledge, in a room you are paying to be safe in, is genuinely distressing. I came here to relax and celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and instead I’ve left feeling violated and unsafe. I would urge any guests to use the in-room safe for absolutely everything of value and to be aware that this can happen, even in a resort of this calibre."

"All of the staff was great. They’re very adamant about maintaining your room - but after a talk with our excellent Expedia rep, Dana, we were left to relax and enjoy the pools and beautiful beach."
