Lovely service - welcoming and helpful. In a brilliant position right on the main square. It's crazy outside and brilliant fun, but it's lovely to come into this oasis of peacefulness.
Practically the service was great - organising day trips, bringing refreshing mint tea.
We stayed as a family, and the pool was small but lovely. However, I think this hotel is best suited to couples. Very romantic and absolutely stunning Morrocan decoration.
Only criticism - slightly unpredictable plumbing with hot water in the shower going hot/cold/hot/cold. But not enough to drop any stars.
We spent two nights in this lovely riad, and the most surprising thing was the world class hospitality. From check-in to check-out, the staff was very kind and the attention to details was just incredible. We were also given a mobile phone to contact the hotel in case of emergency. Room was more than spacious and well decorated. A splendid and peaceful interior courtyard is where you will have your breakfast and just relax if you wish to be away from the busy market. We also went for the hammam and massage offered by the hotel, which was simply heavenly. A must try!
The riad itself was lovely! Friendly staff, beautifully decorated, and peacefully quiet.
We stayed in one of the suits - plenty big enough for 3 people, and cleaned daily, however the lighting was very poor and meant getting ready in the near dark at night! The pool was a perfect accompaniment for time spent sunbathing and relaxing on the terrace, and there was always enough seats!
However, this was somewhat spoilt by the location... Whilst being an easy and short walk to the main square (15mins) as a group of 3 female travellers there wasn't a trip there or back where we didn't feel threatened. The constant harassment, stares, comments we experienced in the area was extrememly unsettling. We even got followed back to the riad one evening by a group of boys who insisted on convincing us we were lost and found another on the roof of the riad watching us sunbathing! Attempting to (unsucceffully) hide himself.
Again, the room and hotel itself, staff and service, was excellent, though I feel any young female travellers should be aware that the harassment on the streets leading to the main square doesn't make for a relaxing stress free holiday experience!
