There was ac but it was really hot took a while to sleep other then that the experience wonderful enjoyed the pool def a good way to stay cool .. Both the deluxe room and suite were very comfy was hoping the ac worked better so I paid for an upgrade no luck there but still worth the upgrade for 50 euros ... Staff was great food was very tasty freshly squeezed orange juice with ice was clutch .. It is August so probably hotter then usual but good trip very calm and still close to the souks good medina experience if that's what u want other wise hiverenge is a good place to stay more of a hotel spa experience over city ...
My wife thought ="...
I loved this riad! Hajiba, our host, was super friendly, super thoughtful, so welcoming and really made our stay here memorable. The rooms were clean, authentic Moroccan feel, enjoyed a romantic private diner in the hotel garden. Food had that home made taste. Would love to stay here again! Location was excellent, just minutes away from all the souks.
A nice place that is close to the edge of the Medina but far enough away from the murderous crowds and badgering, really great place to stay with helpful team. Loved sitting by the pool and enjoying the service, good food too, from breakfast to dinner.
The first impression that Riad Jona made on me was that of stylish calm. The atmosphere was very appealing, the décor was very stylish and the air was enriched with the scent of orange and cinnamon.
The reception and lounge areas were luscious and very comfortable, and the staff were fully attentive without being intrusive - which was the perfect balance for us weary travellers.
Our room was very sizeable and decorated in a very Eastern / North African / Moorish style, which was a joy to relax in.
Breakfast and dinner were served on the roof terrace, which was festooned with literally dozens of rose bushes, all in bloom, evocative lighting for the evening and a splendid, expansive view of the city. We didn't have enough time to enjoy the Jacuzzi or swimming pool, but the sun lounge areas were very appealing, and superbly close to the terrace bar.
Breakfast varied every morning, and never failed to delight: a selection of pancakes, toasted Berber flat-breads, conserves sourced from local desert-border orchards, the lightest home-made yoghurt and plenty of mellifluous honey. Rich, aromatic coffee and smooth, tasty fruit juices brought the perfect balance to a perfect start to the day.
Dinner involved a delicious selection of starters, show-casing the local cuisine. The lamp tagine was utterly delicious.
I hadn't visited Morocco in several years, and only now realise what we'd been missing out on.
Go stay at Riad Jona. You'll love it.

Painless arrival by hotel shuttle, very well located, nice room ("mini suite")and building, friendly staff. Lashings of hot water, bathrobes. Lovely roof top terrace overlooking Jemaa el Fna. Small pool a bonus. Good breakfast. Rooms spacious, minor downside only window off internal courtyard (typical in Marrakech). Reasonably priced. No booze served a slight drag. Overall very good, would stay again.
Marrakech, is a mad, buzzing place, of scents, spices, and people. If you are not prepared, it really can knock you for six.
fortunately the road monceau offers respite. What is amazing is that despite being surrounded by the chaos, it somehow has an air of calm. Its almost like it has a barrier surrounding it shutting off the outside.
everyone inside was amazing, the beds comfy, to rest your weary feet and food to restore and revitalise the body.
be it for a stay, or an evening meal, it really oa worth going out of your way to get to it
Pictures do not do justice to how beautiful this hotel really is. It's a beautiful environment. Probably the best five star I've ever been to and would definitely return. I would just say that for the cost and calibre I would have hoped that bottled water would come free but this is not so! You get a big bottle free when you arrive but from then onwards it's 15dirhams for a small bottle. That's the only negative I can say really it was absolutely amazing. Staff are so lovely. I used the hammam at the spa and loved the fact that when I asked for a recommendation as to which treatment to have, I was recommended the most authentic option. This would have been the easiest
Opportunity for the hotel to suggest something higher priced as the authentic hamMam was the cheapest but they were honest and said if I wanted the traditional hammam to get the lowest costing option. thank you for a wonderful stay! The hotel even had one of the staff chaperon us to jamA el fna as we were nervous going alone at night as two women. All over fab! They wrote happy birthday in Rose petals for me as a surprise!
