Overall a very good hotel and excellent facilities.
We had a junior suite and it was fabulous, big rooms and very comfortable.
The only thing at the time we went was the atmosphere, there was none. The bars and restaurants were empty empty, the only time you saw a few guests were at breakfast.
However, Buddha Bar was next door which was very busy with a buzzing atmosphere.
We did enjoy the hotel and the location was good and managed to see a lot of Marrakesh.
good clean 5 star hotel with great facilities and friendly staff. Efficient and knwoledgable concierge service. Grat location - a little awat from the hustle and bustle of town but close enoug to get anywhere. Queit serne surrounds. Fantastic Italian restaurant.

Booked 7 nights last minute for a New Year getaway. The highlights of this hotel are the friendly and dedicated staff particularly Abdul and others who kept the room spotless and made sure we had everything we needed for a fun and comfortable stay. The New Years eve programme was low key but the hotel bar was busy with a good atmosphere. The night club Theatro is a trendy night spot , you can hear music in the rooms but not off putting for us.
We did order a lot of room service and can say the food is of good quality but the service was erratic with missed items and delays , the staff often seemed under a lot of pressure and the late night choice is very limited for a 5 star hotel. The pool view room are well worth the extra as the others look out onto a busy road. The in room facilities need some updating to be truly 5 star. There is no iron or board and the furniture is dated. The bathroom was quite small and needed some paintwork attention. I would recommend this hotel , not up with the best 5 star but certainly a traditional high standard establishment.
This was a great hotel. Close enough to the centre (11 minute walk to the central square) but without the chaos. It had a great pool, good (but pricey) food, and lots of little extras such as pool table, giant chess set and ping pong table. We didn't get breakfast included and they wanted to charge us the equivalent of £32/day (for both of us)! Alternatively you could go across the road and get a breakfast in the (smokey) Extrablatt cafe for £7! Beware of the dodgy blokes who follow you from the hotel and try and get you to see carpets... The rooms are traditional in the imperial palais but contemporary on the spa side...
When we first arrived the concierge was somewhat unhelpful and as a consequence it really tainted my initial impression. I will say that the mountain view was also a lie and when I went to change rooms the reception staff were surprised there was an option of a mountain view!
