"Joy and Bob are wonderful hosts! This is a very relaxing place. Our family, including our two dogs, felt right at home. We enjoyed the beach and the breeze on the deck while sunning. Very laid back area with cool wildlife. Herons and a bald eagle regularly around the beach as are other shore birds. "

"I had to put 4 stars for the accuracy of the description because I truly feel you are underselling the property. The picture of the access of the beach looks really far away, but in reality you literally just walk down two sets of stairs and you are stepping onto the beach. The description of the 2nd king bedroom should really say king suite. It is large with a beautiful private bathroom. The location of the property is fantastic. Very private, but also the few people we did see were all so very nice. Just a few houses down is a docking area where you can charter a boat to get to the island, or even charter it to go fishing. We did both and the fact that they were so convenient and close to the property made us feel very safe and comfortable. This was our son’s senior year spring break, how many kids can say they caught a hammerhead and a manta ray? We, him, and his buddies made memories that will last a lifetime. "

"This was our first trip to the Port St Joe area and we couldn’t have asked for a much better experience. The beach in front of Beachfront Blue rental home was among the nicest of all the beaches we visited in the area, so there wasn’t much need to travel elsewhere. It was never even remotely crowded on the beach. Plus, I had some pretty decent luck surf fishing right out in front of the house.The house itself is well appointed. The pool was fantastic and maintained frequently (cleaned twice during our stay). Most of the necessities were provided in the kitchen, although I’d recommend bringing your own frying pan if you’re particular about using good cookware.About the only reasons we left the house were to pick up a few supplies and go out to eat. The General Store was very convenient for bait, beverages and a variety of other necessities. And there were several great places to eat in the area. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Beachfront Blue immensely and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for an ocean front experience."

"Beach access at end of street was alittle more like a nature walk. Floors were swept, not mopped. Loved the deck and screened porch. House was pet friendly. A couch instead of 3 love seat would’ve help me get to 4 1/2 stars."
