"This is a great property! Clean, well equipped, everything worked, and the location is unbeatable. There's nothing between the back porch and the beach! The boardwalk makes the walk over the sand dunes super fast and the outdoor shower, hose, and sink make cleaning up so easy. We brought a bunch of beach gear, but realized we didn't need any of it. Chairs, umbrellas, towels, kids toys, and wagon are all provided! We spent one week with me, my wife, and four young children and had an absolute blast. An easy 15min drove to Port St Joe (which had some great food) and beautiful views everywhere you look. If you're looking for a low-key, low speed, relaxing getaway, I don't think you could do much better."

"Great place to stay, great location. Bottom floor of the property is not ideal for 4 people, it would best suit 3 or less. AC on the bottom floor is a bit lacking but we made it work. It's in a super cool spot that felt like you had your own private beach and the private pool was nice."

"The place was amazing for our family of 6 adults and 7 children. The detached downstairs bedroom was good for the older preteen. The hot tub was excellent. The few snags we ran into were handled quickly and efficiently. Communication was quite timely. Well stocked kitchen with utensils, plates, cups and even a griddle.Smart TVs in every bed room. Plenty of towels.Great view of the beach from both balconies Small negative: small all in one washer/dryer unit so we had to do laundry round the clock almost."

"Pros: house is great size. It’s very nice and was clean. We had large family of 16 and plenty of room. Plenty of bedrooms and baths. Plenty of room for everyone to sit for meals and hanging out together and separately. View is beautiful! Nice pool area. Two large fridges, 3 mini fridge and two ice makers and dishwashers were great! Plenty of parking. Close to town. We had yellow flags when Cape had double red first of week.Cons: water pressure was terrible all through the house. Most of the bathrooms had no hot or even warm water after 3rd day. Called to report 3 times and we’re just told they would call plumber. No one ever came. There is a cracked window near ceiling on main floor, and bugs came in - noseeums I believe. We vacuumed them up every night. Reported this also. Exterminator came while we were about to sit down for dinner and said he would come back. He never came back. You definitely cannot access the beach directly due to the bayou in front of the house although others had commented you can. The property description stated this, but we were hoping. Recommend golf cart to get to beach access - @ 1/2 mile. We also rented paddleboard and crossed with that, but there were gators in there. They never came close. Some of the men walked across in waist deep water, but it was gross! Gulf water is not clear in this area. It’s more like the Atlantic."
