We were pleasantly surprised that Tortuga Tilly’s backyard was completely fenced in for our sweet Molly dog. Proximity to the beach was an easy walk and we walked it several times a day. The boardwalk across the street was beautiful and another pleasant surprise. This area is so dog and people friendly. We visited the state park twice! The beds were all very comfortable and the house was top notch clean. We felt at home instantly. Our group of 6 adults agreed that we would stay at this location again in a heartbeat. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us when our Molly passed away on our morning walk. We needed an additional day to drive to Georgia to pick up our Mollys remains so we’d have her with us on our drive home. These lovely people allowed us to stay with no additional cost to us. These are the kind of people you want to rent from. I can’t say enough. We were so devastated in this situation but they helped us get through it. We hope to stay again."
