"The property had some quirks which could be solved by a bit of routine maintenance (screen doors which no longer latch, blinds which did not open, broken kitchen sprayer in the outside sink) but overall the cleanliness and upkeep were very good. The house itself is wonderful, and the location near the beach is hard to beat."

"The property is well situated with good beach access. I was disappointed in the condition of the house. It needs quite a bit of maintenance to bring it up to par with the photos of the listing. There is a soft spot in the floor in front of the washing machine that is very concerning, in fact the entire 3 story house “wobbled” when the washer was in spin mode. Overall the place was just run down. The furniture was tired, the exterior spaces needed refreshing, and had old cheap patio furniture. Outside of the maintenance issues, there was no detergent for the sink, the hand soap was empty, and there were no blankets on the beds except for the master. We had to dig around and find blankets that were stuffed in drawers. We did have an issue with the A/C when we checked in that was handled promptly. We stay in several VRBO’s a year and have had experience with all kinds of owners and management companies. This place, compared to similar properties we’ve stayed in, was not at all welcoming. There were warning signs all over the house that pointed out the various infractions you could commit and get charged extra for. I did not feel like a guest at all. An additional annoyance was they charged a 3.5% fee for using my credit card…even though the VRBO listing clearly stated all fees were included. "

"Fantastic, comfortable, well appointed home. We had a great stay and really enjoyed both our time in and out of the home. Inside is super comfortable for meals and chill time. The upstairs bedroom / bath and balcony are pretty amazing. The view from there is special. Truly steps from the beach down one of two private access paths and even though it was spring break because of where the house is on the beach we literally at times had the beach to ourselves. Definitely a high recommendation to stay, unwind and enjoy. Our lab had the best time of all. Pet friendly home, pet friendly beach happy lab. Must try’s Indian Pass Oyster Bar, Hunts Oyster Bar for sunset, and Skulkys Low Country Boil ( super kind people and very generous portions ), best brewery Buoy Brewing in Apalachicola, flyfishing guide Danielle with Forgotten Coast Fly Company. Couple of tips Neighborhood is gated, be sure to ask for the gate code. Indiana Pass General Store is open and is close and convenient. Cheers !"

"The house was in great condition, Very clean with everything we needed. Steps to the beach was great. We had to venture out a bit for excursions, but we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. I wished there was a Wal Mart nearby but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay."

"We really liked the house. Hot tub needs to be replaced…jets did not work. Great pool. Outdoor furniture was used as the indoor sofa for the large room…not at all comfortable. House needs a “deep clean”…fans, lamps, baseboards, jets for soaker bathtubs. Great property management communication. Great bedroom space. Awesome covered outdoor living area! "

"Our stay was fantastic! We were pleasantly surprised that Tortuga Tilly’s backyard was completely fenced in for our sweet Molly dog. Proximity to the beach was an easy walk and we walked it several times a day. The boardwalk across the street was beautiful and another pleasant surprise. This area is so dog and people friendly. We visited the state park twice! The beds were all very comfortable and the house was top notch clean. We felt at home instantly. Our group of 6 adults agreed that we would stay at this location again in a heartbeat. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us when our Molly passed away on our morning walk. We needed an additional day to drive to Georgia to pick up our Mollys remains so we’d have her with us on our drive home. These lovely people allowed us to stay with no additional cost to us. These are the kind of people you want to rent from. I can’t say enough. We were so devastated in this situation but they helped us get through it. We hope to stay again."
