Easy checkin and out. Very cute historic place. It was nice having coffee and light breakfast in the dining room. Convenient location as we walked to the main street for entertainment and food.

We really enjoyed staying at the Coombs properties! The rooms were exceptionally clean. The bed was fantastic. Rebecca was a very gracious host. Remedied a situation immediately. She gave us several recommendations for dinner and spending the afternoon. Breakfast was very good. The antique furniture in the common areas and the bedrooms were so cool to see. We loved it and will spend time there again.

Very comfy bed, nice blackout curtains, tiny bathroom, nice large bedroom, great shower, respectable breakfast, kind staff & guests. Parking was gravel so I parked my motorcycle next door under a streetlight on asphalt. Overall pleasant staff.

It’s an old house and very well maintained it may be warmer than a new hotel but the overall experience makes up for it. Room was clean,the inn keeper was very helpful. And the house was quiet had convenient parking. Had a great time and definitely plan on going back.

Checking in with Direct App was difficult at first. Once acquainted with app. using it was easy. Property manager was very helpful and informative. Rooms are older in homes built 1905. Historic homes abd architecture are what we like. Breakfast was hot and good selection. Rooms are clean, buildings need some routine maintenance performed. We plan on coming again for weekend stays.

I loved the property! The furnishings were beautiful, and it felt like we had our own private house. It was so quiet! The only things I didn’t like were: 1-there was no trash can in the bathroom (we took the small trash can by the fridge/coffee maker and put in the bathroom), 2-the shower curtain made the shower feel super small. The way the jetted tub was, I feel if you installed a curved shower rod, it wouldn’t make it feel so small. I know you try to keep the furnishings within the traditional era, but the shower curtain itself was a standard hotel shower curtain. Making that change to a curved a shower rod wouldn’t make the shower feel so small when the guest is in it, 3-the water pressure in the shower was very low. Not sure if it was the shower head (which the installation didn’t look professional and could be cleaned up a little), but it felt like the water was barely coming out of the shower head. I’d also recommend removing the jetted tub and installing a plain smooth tub. The jetted tub just didn’t feel hygienic, and I don’t feel any guest would use it.

The Coombs Inn and Suites was a unique place - an old Victorian style house with all the furnishings to match. Our room was very spacious. We had a claw foot bathtub with a raindrop showerhead. The tub was not safe to climb in and out of and the shower head the drops felt like needles hitting my body. The entire place is digital access with Direct Key which was often a pain when you had your hands full. The staff that was around in the morning at breakfast were very friendly and the complimentary breakfasts were quite good. We had to go to a completely different building to get ice - very inconvenient.

I love the property, perfectly located within walking distance. Rooms very clean and cool. The Staff was excellent, Ms. Rebecca Jean was the highlight of the place, very professional and loves what she does. She gave great advice of the town and some good history. Ms. Rebecca was a great hostess, the hospitality of the city was great. I have already since I've been home and told everyone about Coombs. I'll be back definitely, Thanks....

Gorgeous circa 1900 house with original woodwork. There was a fireplace in my room. Some rooms have clawfoot bathtubs. I enjoyed a very quiet stay. Plus it's VERY convenient to town.
