My wife and I stayed here while visiting family in Carrabelle, the Villa we stayed in as well the grounds in general were clean and very well kept up. The most memorable thing of the trip would be the staff, the restaurant manager and the server during the days we were there made us feel like we have known them for years.

The only down side we found several roaches in our apartment and the pool in the apartment side needs some major renovation. The other pool by the restaurant is amazing and the staff and the restaurant it’s amazing.

Nice resort cottage on Florida's Forgotten Coast.

Lovely stay at St. James Bay, cozy spacious cottage, restaurant on premises, golf, pickleball, playground. Nicely managed grounds. Would stay again!

Wonderful birthday celebration

We came to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful time golfing and fishing. Our condo was spacious and homey. The kitchen was well stocked and our beds were comfortable. This isn’t our first time here and won’t be our last.

The resort was very pretty. Grounds are well kept. Facilities are in nice condition. Pretty cool that you have your own washer/dryer in the villas. If you want a beach, there isn't too much close by. Carrabelle beach is about 20 minutes away, nice, but small, and no shops or restaurants near. St. George Island is about 30 minutes. Worth the drive. Good beach, lots of shops, lighthouse & museum, etc.

Great stay not so great gold

The stay was great, we stayed in one of the condos and not many complaints there. There were a few small things if you wanted to nit pick but I don’t expect perfection. Only real complaint would be of the golfing experience. For $100 per person I would have expected a little better. Greens were great but tee boxes and most of the fairway was little more than dirt. We were also one of the few people on the course but still found ourselves being held up by workers who seemed to not care that they were holding us up with no one behind us.

Cute restaurant at the golf club…not traditional hotel…they email you code to your door for access to your room at check in….plenty of parking Small pool bear condos- water was super hot but nice to have… Condo itself was spacious and clean! Well furnished and comfy beds

This is an extremely nice property. The food at Crooked River Grill is absolutely delicious with no skimping on quality ingredients. We didn’t play golf but the course looks very nice. There are some renovations being done to the main pool bathrooms, The fitness facility is a separate cottage and is well appointed. Our condo was spacious and had great views of the pond and golf course. Beds were comfortable and we loved the space. It was certainly functional but there is only minimal interior design. A lot more thought should be given to that and that would take this property to a whole new level. It is extremely nice and functional as is, but some minor details are overlooked that should not be. I highly recommend renting this property!
