We had an incident - there were flies coming up through the shower drain - and the staff responded quickly and moved us to another room. A fire alarm went off twice early in the morning in an adjacent room, and they sent someone quickly on both occasions to investigate and shut it down, but I did have to get up, go into the hallway to isolate the source, and call the front desk twice. The building dates to the 1960s; probably for that reason it was not as well designed as more contemporary hotels to block out traffic noise. The staff, decor, restaurant and service were otherwise excellent.

Stayed one night on our way to Orlando. Enjoyed the rooftop bar area. Also enjoyed walking to the restaurant Savor, which is a very good restaurant. Came back to the hotel and had a few drinks at the bar. Nice area, quiet and enjoyed our one-night stay.

Clean room and comfortable beds, we slept like champions. A highly friendly and attentive staff. The roof top bar for cocktails and breakfast did the job! Quiet but close to everything. We liked this property and think the planned renovation is bang on. The hotel facilities are a little tired but not that far gone just yet!
