Right on the beach. Clean room, great bed and pillows. Loved the small hotel feel. The staff was friendly and amazing. 100% will stay here next year on vacation and would recommend. Well worth it. The kitchen had everything you need to make a breakfast and make lunch for the beach... dinner too if you're on a budget.

The hotel is a winner because of location - right on the beach- and price. Otherwise, it may need some minor improvements. Parking is a challenge late at night, but there is plenty of spots across the street

We enjoyed our time at Sugar Sands. Staff was friendly and helpful. Grounds we clean, suite was clean. We have stayed at Sugar Sands at least once a year over the past 15 years. Love this property. Best beach in PCB

The properties location was a big decision in our stay. The beach area wasn't crowded. The traffic was light making it easy to get in and out of the parking area. The staff was really friendly and helpful with anything that we needed. This is our favorite place to stay in PCB.

The shower curtain kept falling my husband had to fix it. The check in/ out desk was very helpful. Of course the staff could not help the love bugs that were hanging around apparently those bugs show up and bite everyone yearly. lol But good location and budget friendly place to stay in Panama City!

The beach was beautiful and not crowded which we loved. The room floor was filthy along with some kitchen items being filthy. The kitchen was no a fully stocked kitchen with cookware. The lady who checked us out a departure was so sweet. The manager Selena was nice and helped get our room clean. The other manager was very dismissive and not helpful at all. It took 2 days to get our room cleaned and we had to go get towels and toilet paper ourselves.

The staff was excellent from check-in to check-out. Anything we needed they were willing to help. The room was very clean when we checked in, however during our stay there were several small brown bugs with wings crawling on the cabinets. Of course I killed them. Also some large palmetto bugs got in, that we also killed. We couldn’t sit on the balcony during the day because of an enormous amount of flying black bugs, which I know you can’t control. The pool area, and the water were kept perfectly. The beds were clean and comfortable. The T.V.remote back was missing so the batteries kept falling out,but we made it work okay.

We had a lovely day my daughter and myself. We really enjoyed the of the beach from our room both bedroom as well as living room. We love the accessibility of the hotel on the beach and most of all the beautiful firework show said it all and I really enjoyed myself with my daughter and we will be back.

Beach view from our balcony was amazing Room, Pool and common areas were clean. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Also liked the location. Property is in the process of renovating rooms and buildings which is much needed and when completed will vastly improve the feel of this property. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would like to return soon.
