"I had such a relaxing time in Hakone retreat villa, its such a special place. The staff are very attentive and helpful, they even brought a spare charger to our room when we needed it. The private onsen was all we hoped for it would be. The Kaiseki dinner and the breakfast is also worth noting, the ingredients are seasonal and fresh and every dish had been delicious. "Amazing, private and luxurious property. Our room was hidden from all behind a bamboo forest with a beautiful soaking tub, private dining area and comfy bed. The staff were so polite, so helpful and so nice. Privacy is always maintained in the spirit of a true Ryokan. Don't miss out on one of the best Bars I've seen anywhere in the world. Every Scotch and Bourbon imaginable in front of a private pond. We were the only people there."
