"The property is beautiful! The views are gorgeous and the location is perfect for dining and shopping. There's a night club on the top floor if you're into the sort of thing, but there's also a great outdoor space for peace and quiet. There was a stain on the carpet when I arrived, but the hostess made sure to note it so there weren't any issues once tome for checkout. I would absolutely recommend this hotel."

"Before I arrived to the hotel spoke on the phone to Laura. Made a request and when we arrived to the hotel it was done. Phone customer service is very important. When we arrived to hotel valet, bellhop, baggage porter and front desk all simply amazing! During our stay at the hotel excellent restaurants on-site. Great options and the roof deck gorgeous. Rooms very clean, nice size and loved the balcony. Housekeeping excellent. Although did not drink/eat anything from the mini-bar was surprised and pleased with the tasteful assortment of options. Bottom line, I felt at home. Felt like I was visiting family. My daughter is a teenager and she was the one who picked the hotel. I have to say, may daughter did great! Gansevoort Hotel, you are officially our hotel of choice. Thank You for making us feel welcome. Next time I'll have more cash on me for tips. Everyone on your team, good people. Robin "

"The staff was very attentive. They made every effort to accommodate requests. The Chelsea area of NYC is very eclectic and trendy. So many shops abound within walking distance, especially the Chelsea Market. Good choice!"
