"Boutique hotel close to Grand Central Terminal. "
My flight out was canceled so I just needed a place in the city to stay for the night. I had never stayed here before but was glad that I had picked it. The staff was very friendly, the lobby was very welcoming coming in out of the cold! It smelled really nice and clean and I was given a glass of champagne on arrival. It had been a very stressful afternoon so the hotel was a welcome retreat. The lobby and room that I had booked where not very big but perfect for what I needed. Very clean and comfortable. I would stay at The Bernic again!

"Glad I booked based on reviews: Value w/Views"
We stayed here on my nephews first trip to NYC! And what a great stay, location, amenities, staff, room-size! I can't say enough good things about our experience. We were given a corner room on the 15th floor, with GREAT view of Chrysler building (not Empire state as some may mistaken.) We could even see it from the bathroom! The room had a kitchenette, wow. And, we took advantage of the daily FREE $10 snacks offered per day---like cold water bottles, candy, chips, even BEER! We only made it back to the hotel one night by 5 p.m. in time for the WINE HOUR and it was perfect because it was snowing heavy outside and we were warm & toasty sipping wine, talking, and meeting other guests doing the same thing. WHO CARES about the $25/day hotel fee, for the value of my package price through Expedia, it was worth it! And, LOCATION, we cold walk just a few blocks to Macys, the Empire state building, Times Square, Bryant Park, 42nd street & Broadway. I will stay here again, and I will encourage my friends to stay here. SAFE neighborhood, restaurants for all meals & tastes nearby.

"Good Hotel--We would book again!"
Great location, close to Times Square, 15 minute walk to Rockefeller Center, etc., and connected to Grand Central Station. Service was excellent and all the staff made sure our stay was pleasant. My only complaint was the ultra modern lights and shower faucet that was very hard to turn in! Other than that our room was good and we would stay there again!

Typical Double Tree hotel. Room furniture needs some updating. Nice oversized size rooms for NYC standards. Good for families and in the middle of time square.
