Clean, comfortable, modern, relatively quiet-on 50th street. 4 minute walk to subway. [ 2 blocks] Be prepared for "resort fee" which must be paid on checkin. Not worth the regular rate, but good choice if booked at a discount.
This suite style room on the upper east side was quite and convenient. Perfect for me and my two adult sons for a weekend in the city. The Q train is practically outside your doorstep and it’s an easy walk to other stations and plenty of restaurants. Museum mile and the park are close enough.
The hotel is in a great location right across the road from a beautiful private park that hotel guests have access to. The only drawback is that a staff member must open the gate when you enter and you need to phone for them to come and let you out.

The room could have been tidier - the comforter had strands of ...

Used to stay at Lucerne, but this is my new spot. Loved it and will be back. A tad more expensive, but you get what you pay for, as ...
Nice hotel with friendly staff and amenities. Good location. Quiet.

Beyond its iconic sites, such as Times Square, the Rockefeller Center, Statue of Liberty, and Carnegie Hall, New York also has plenty of other attractions to enjoy, including a huge range of social scenes, from those looking to dance the night away to those after a chic restaurant or a dive bar.
