Very comfortable hotel with great breakfast options. Walkable into central Gosforth.

We used the hotel as a base whilst I underwent some tests and procedures at the Royal Victoria infirmary. The staff could not have been more helpful and all in all the quality of our stay was exceptional. The bedrooms are understated but well-equipped. We only stayed 1 night for an open day at the nearby university but couldn’t fault them and if our son gets into this chosen uni we will definitely be using this hotel to stay for visits. The staff were very friendly and accommodating

I stayed here for work. Booked a family room but was changed to an exec room as I was traveling alone. The hotel was very centeral to jesmond, spotlessly clean and staff friendly. My colleagues room seemed a little more dated so i would recommend you opt for the exec rooms. Breakfast was included and whilst a few items where missing and not replaced there was a good choice. Overall i was very impressed.

The lady receptionists was rude when i booked in when my colleagues had already booked in the day before and spoken with Micky to confirm when i arrived to meet with my friends the women said that nothing is had been arranged When we spoke with Micky who was very professional sorted it out Thanks for Micky our stay was wonderful

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. It's above a bar but there was no noise. Great location. Second time I stayed here - 1st room was a standard double and it was "snug" but fine for me on my own. This time I stayed in a superior and it was massive - have requested the same room when I go back for my 3rd stay in one month's time! Both bathrooms seemed to have been newly refurbished. The pillows are a bit thin and hard so next time I'll chuck my pillows from home in the car with me!

I have stayed in a number of hotels in Newcastle and this was the best stay. The room was spacious with a well equipped mini kitchen and we had prepared 2 good evening meals there. The bed was so comfortable and the location made the hotel quiet which is a change to the noise and sirens throughout the night in my other stays! Easy access into city by car or public transport. I have mobility issues and the ground floor room was excellent, the car park was good plenty of spaces also local restaurants gave you choices to go to,overall the staff were excellent hotel was great would definitely go back again abig thank you to everyone who made our stay enjoyable 😉

Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was okay - the full English I felt was a bit small for what I paid but other hot options looked pretty good - would consider that next time and the continental breakfast was good. Staff were lovely.

Lovely room and bed very comfortable. I hadn't realised there was a pool so can't comment on that but it looked very clean and quiet. Very close to metro centre so ideal if that's what you are there for. Taxi to Quayside cost around £14 one way
