Transit less than two blocks away, once you understand where you are easy to take bus to Vatican City, you can buy ticket right on their buses #24 to VC with short walk. Took flat rate bus to airport. Don’t be afraid to walk, everything is very close. We walked back from VC. Walked colosseum and all other sites. Five days more than enough time to see all sites.
