"Very well situated but lacked polish"
Well situated hotel. Very nicely decorated. Good breakfast. Exuded an air of luxury. Some of the functions of the hotel were in need of repair. The sink plug didn't work, shower door wouldn't close. The front desk staff were very polite but not very clued up with recommendations for dinner etc. These were small issues that didn't spoil the overall experience. We left feeling very satsfied and felt the hotel was worth the price.

"Convenient, comfortable and a very sweet staff"
The area is great for enjoying Rome during the day and night as there are many restaurants, great shopping area, and close to must-see sights like the Piazza di Spagna and Spanish Steps, a very short walk to the Trevi fountain and Piazza del Popolo, and maybe a 20 minute walk towards the Pantheon and all the beautiful churches and Piazza Navona. Also conveniently located by the Spanish Steps is the Spagna Metro Station (which we took to Vatican City, to Termini for bus transfers to Trastevere and outer reach areas, as well as the cross Italian train for a day trip to Pisa). The hotel is beautiful, a cozy elegance. The staff was very hospitable, it added a great overall vibe to our trip, though I found the people in Rome were generally quite pleasant. There is free wifi and breakfast (very delicious, pastries, cold cuts, bacon, eggs, juice, fruit, coffee, yogurt, and a very yummy home made yogurt that I unfortunately only discovered on my last day). My single room was just right, though I can see it being too small for certain persons (I did find the sink a little small). Definitely planning to return to Rome and will try to book Manfredi again. Note, the reception is on the third floor, not the small store front window (though there is a note, I nearly missed seeing it).

"Perfectly placed for walking in Rome"
Great, friendly hotel. Excellent location and beautiful buffet breakfast. Room was elegant and comfortable. Could have done with an extra chest of drawers for clothes storage but was a wonderful base for a city break in Rome.

"Fantastic staff"
Rome was the first stop on our trip, so we arrived right from Fiumicino about mid-morning. We were told our room would be ready by 11:00- just enough time to stroll to the nearby Piazza Navona and enjoy a cappucino. We had a very comfortable, quiet room. During our stay the front desk staff recommended good restaurants that were nearby, marking our city map with the location. The staff were very friendly and most helpful.
