"Lovely hotel close to the colosseum"
Lovely hotel, situated in the back street off a main road leading to the colosseum. 1 minute walk to Cavour metro stop. Nice local restaurants within walking distance. The only slight negative was the size of the shower and the view from our room "206" Reception staff very helpful and knowledgeable- always pleasant to talk to

Hotel Lunetta

Piazza del Paradiso, 68, Rome - Map

"Cozy hotel in a great location. "
The Hotel Lunetta is in a terrific location. Right around the corner from the Campo de Fiore market and within walking distance of nearly everything. The hotel is well kept and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite small, but very clean. I splurged for a deluxe room for a closet, but a refrigerator and safe was stored in the closet so there was only about 6 inches to hang clothes. The bathroom was surprisingly a bit larger than expected. Despite the coziness of the room, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others. We were out from morning to night and spent very little time in the room. You can't beat the location and the hotel has charm.

Princeps Boutique Hotel

Piazza Dell'Esquilino, 29, Rome - Map

"Great little hotel, well placed for sightseeing"
This is a really nice, modern hotel, in a brilliant location - just 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum & Roman Forum and 10 minutes from Termini station, with it's access to the Metro from there. Brilliant customer service and some nice little touches - free WiFi, free Mini Bar, free phonecalls (national & international), climate control and a nice breakfast spread of bacon, eggs, cold meats, fruits, cereals, pastries and much more. Didn't have any problem from noise within the hotel, rooms seemed fairly well soundproofed. External noises beyond their control were a bit of an issue, but we live in a village, so I guess it's that noisy in any city - traffic, sirens etc. The Metro is very shallow under Via Cavour and runs right under the hotel, so there is a fair rumble every few minutes, but, as with the city noise, you soon get used to it! It's a bit of a tricky place to find, as it's on the 4th floor of the building and not actually the whole building, but some of that might be down to us just not looking well enough! Some great eateries nearby as well, with the hotel staff more than happy to recommend good local spots and try and get you a reservation. If visiting Rome again, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Hotel Adriano

"Wonderful stay at Adriano"
Lovely, beautifully furnished, immaculately clean hotel with welcoming, charming, efficient staff! When we found that our annex room was too-removed from the lobby and helpful desk staff, without any fuss they moved us the next day to a junior suite. It was a wonderful stay. Oh, and did I mention the delicious breakfasts and the bar,The Gin Corner? This was our second stay-we will be back!

Hotel Raffaello

"Close termini station"
We enjoyed our stay here. We had to request to move from room (202) . The window looked straight onto a wall and felt claustaphobic. The toilet was impossible to sit on as it was so close to shower there was no leg room. Luckily we were able to change rooms. Breakfast was limited but ok. To be honest we were not there much as out sight seeing , it was a good base and very clean.
