Upgraded to prestige room on arrival. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and very large. Hotel was central and easy to travel from. Breakfast was excellent and had many options. The only negatives were the hot food choices could have been hotter and the coffee machine quality was not good for being in Italy.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mercure Hotel in Rome while celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely lovely with plenty of choice. Room has got everything for a modern traveller. Kettle and USB charger even a work desk and nice juliet balcony. Only thing was the instant coffee provide was only for one use. We prefer two sets one in the afternoon and evening. Room was clean and towels were too.
