House cleaning always put a nice touch. The main city was walking distance and therefore quite convenient. Staff was also accommodating for our luggage on the last day given circumstances. "Stayed for a full week to visit area. Room was large and very comfortable with large bathroom all in near new condition. We ate in the restaurant 3 times, good menu, not just your usual pup food, excellent standard, superb service. Breakfast has large choice, full breakfast was huge, all sourced locally and of high quality. Staff were very friendly, very efficient, new what they were doing. "The bedroom was ok, but bathroom left a lot to be desired, less than a third of a toilet roll no spare, no glasses glass or plastic to clean your teeth, bath panel cracked, toilet needs a lot of bleach in it for it to be clean, soap dispenser in shower not working. Had a shower went from nice warm water to cold. Bed was comfortable and nice white towels. Room 4 right above the bar can be noisy would we stay again? No."

"The pub/hotel is on the Main Street across from the petrol station so we expected it to be noisy but thankfully it wasn’t in the room. You check in at the bar which can be problematic if you bring your luggage in with you as it can be packed with bar patrons. The rooms are in a separate building which is quite new, parking is first come first serve for both hotel and general public so we had to park down the street until we could find one closer. Dinner at the pub was good, but recommended that...

"We had a very nice experience at The Gainsbourg in Bath. The hotel is beautiful and renovated with good taste for moderna design though keeping the old historical building at it's best. Great location just a few steps from Román Baths, Cathedral and Putneu bridge makes a perfect match to enjoy the city and relax at the spa pools after a day of sightseeing. Would come back for sure and will book some of the other hotels around the World from the same company. Thanks a million to help as enjoy Bath! "
