I'm not normally one for writing reviews, however on this occasion it would be unfair to all the team there not to. I stayed here for 5 nights and couldn't find 1 single fault with anything, ALL the staff there are absolutely amazing, I wish I could take my staff there to demonstrate how customers/guests should be treated, regardless what position they hold there, they go out of the way to acknowledge you.
Definitely worth paying for a pool access room.
I'm already planning my return to...

10/10 stay! The room was very clean and comfortable, with a lovely sea view. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. Breakfast offered a good variety and everything was fresh. The property was quiet, well maintained, and made for a very relaxing stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Our family of three (husband, myself and 7 year old daughter), have just returned from an almost two week stay at Kimpton Kitalay. We had an incredible time at the hotel. The room was clean, spacious and we loved the nightly treats whether it’s a face mask or toffees. There is always an attendant in your block of rooms if you need extra towels or a quick refresh. We made so much use of the balcony, such relaxing couches to read and wind down in peace. The breakfast buffets were excellent, the...

Just a short trip (10 mins) from Koh Samui airport. Taxi cost is about 500 TBH. Very new hotel and very very warm service. Everyone greeted us with respect and a broad smile and very welcoming too. The staff were very helpful and very pro-active to our needs. The hotel has very amazing views in the morning and has 3 pools. We spent two weeks at Sugar Marina Pop, with kids, which was an ideal base during our stay in Phuket. We had a kids pool room, which I’d highly recommend to anyway to stay in with children. Breakfast was great and always greeted by Chaba and the team. It’s very much a family resort, so there are areas where this isn’t a premium hotel.
The restaurant was also great for food and I’d really recommend the cocktails and smoothies from the pool bar. Not many people seemed to use the bar during our...

This was the best hotel we have stayed in. It was luxurious. It has a lovely stretch of beach which gets cleaned every day. The staff are very polite and friendly and helpful. The Thai restaurant is the best and reasonable price. The Italian is expensive and has a very limited menu. The breakfast is amazing but too expensive £25 each for buffet which is unacceptable. The pool is brilliant and you can go on a long treck in the pool to a waterfall. Chairs are easily available with wonderful views...

Great place to stay - My wife and I stayed at X10 for 13 nights, our stay was brilliant, they don't call Thailand the land of smiles for nothing, the staff had smiles and so did we. The hotel has all the modern conveniences that you would expect and is not overly expensive to eat at the resort too. Room service menu is delicious and comes very quickly - the use of the X10 app allows you to order either to your room or to a table by the pool with ease. As a couple we found that the segregation of...

We have just returned from the best holiday at Marriotts Mai khao beach. The staff were wonderful, the kids club was great fun and our room was fab. The kids loved the splash area and kids slide! Exceptional! The standard at the hotel is excellent, staff so attentive. Pricing good too at bars and reasonable at restaurants. The housekeeping was faultless! Beautiful gardens and watch out for the elephant on beach / resort everyday around 5:30. The kids slide in the main pool is brilliant.

Some construction ongoing which we would have appreciated being informed about, however the staff more than made up for this with their excellent and very professional service. The facilities are excellent, spa is fantastic and the location is brilliant. Special mention to the staff at the level who could never do enough for us and somehow remembered our names on each visit.
