Rawai – Located in the far south of Phuket, Rawai is home to a great selection of waterfront eateries and a good choice of beaches. Catch a ferry to one of the nearby islands or stay in Rawai and soak up the resort’s irresistible laid-back atmosphere.

Things to See in Phuket

One of the most famous sights on Phuket is the Big Buddha. Measuring 45 metres, the alabaster Buddha stands at the top of the Nakkerd Hills and is visible from most of the island. Other prominent religious sites on Phuket include Wat Chalong and Wat Prathong, as well as a number of temples in Phuket Town. If you’d like to see some of the spectacular landscapes that Phuket is famous for, head to the Sirinat National Park where you’ll find the outstanding beaches of Nai Thon, Nai Yang and Mai Khao.

Thanks to its status as one of Southeast Asia’s most popular destinations, Phuket boasts a fantastic choice of things to do.
