"A lot of positives, especially location and amenities. The hotel laid on a room with big screen and bar for the football and also provided complimentary sandwiches. Nice touch. But I will never understand the mentality of properties that charge £250 per night watering down the orange juice at breakfast to save a few pennies on costs. What are they thinking? Breakfast is a bit of a circus - needs more space and more staff and training so that when cleaning tables between guests they don't just...

"Nice hotel friendly staff, food was overpriced but where isn’t these days, clean room comfortable bed didn’t use the pool or gym so can’t comment on the facilities as was only a short stay, no other restaurants around the hotel but regular busses into Edinburgh city centre from outside the hotel."

"The staff couldn't be more helpful, refilling water bottles for tea/coffee, supplying extra decaf coffee. Allowing us to leave our cases, so we could enjoy our last day. Within easy walking distance of all the local amenities, if not a little hilly 😊"

"We stayed here for 2 nights on BB basis. Alll staff are excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable with views across Tay Bridge and Quayside. Enjoyed the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, not overly busy. Showers are lovely and clean and have shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast was lovely however was slightly disappointed with the waffles, wasn’t fresh and saturated in too much maple syrup.
