Glasgow All inclusive Holidays

The good: the rooms were lage and very clean. Plenty of free parking and the grounds were kept neat. It's close to the airport and budget friendly. But you get what you pay for. The bad: zero atmosphere. The vibe is a mash of retro 70's meets Bollywood. In the rooms, the decor is garish. Faux gold accents everywhere. No toilet paper or hand soap. The reception will not let you check in until 3 pm. The and bar/restaurant are in the same area but the bar doesn’t open until 5 pm so not many customers. The restaurant is there in name only. Extremely limited menu,ll, if they can gind one to show you. Depending on the day, the menue varies and it doesn't open until 7:30 pm. I don’t think they want customers to use these facilities. Decided to eat out which in my opinion is a safer bet. Stay clear.

The room was clean and well stocked. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The location is good for walking to the train station, the bus station and to shops. However, there are many stairs to enter into the building. The staff assisted with the luggage on check-in and check out. The noise in the alley late at night and all through the night was extreme. I guess we were unlucky to get one of the rooms that the windows faced the alley. As the air conditioning was not working, our window was open so it was really loud from outside. The staff did supply a fan but it was too warm when the windows were closed. We were told that there were parts coming to fix the air conditioning. The remote control was missing from the bedroom TV. Also, we could not get hot water from the tap, only room temperature.

This hotel is a lovely blend of a wonderful terraced house tastefully decorated and fitted out to simultaneously recognise the house's heritage and presenting modern amenities, the attention to style and detail was impecable. Clearly a labour of love evrything ran smoothly from introduction, to breakfast presented at our bedroom to our departure. Kelvingrove museum is ten minutes walk away and the park across the road was a delightful haven. We would not hesitate to chose this hotel should we return at a future date.

As a repeat customer of Apex Hotels, my expectations are always met. On this trip to Glasgow, following check-in, we decided to walk around to familiarize ourselves with the neighborhood. As is often in Scotland, it was raining. Without missing a beat, the man at the front desk whipped around and handed us two umbrellas without our even asking. It was a pleasant and thoughtful surprise that Allan (I think that is his name?) was so attentive! Wonderful visit, great location, and hotel staff and amenities as expected.

An amazing hotel, so classy, the old castle has be renovated to a very high level and the new part is amazing. The staff were excellent, helpful, attentive, friendly. Grounds are lovely even with the noise of the main road in the distance but in the hotel you hear nothing. Breakfast was superb. Need to find a reason to go back.
