10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast was good... better than out later stay at Park Plaza Waterloo. No big fancy lobby or usual larger check in desk, but modern smaller table with staff. They were already there and helpful. Pool was really nice. We his dinner there too twice and the food was excellent. The Bream worth veg. And beetroot lemon? Computer was amazing!!! Although beam was on the smaller side for a serving of fish at this price, but done well. Hot chocolate was nice and 'cocoay' . Good location for heading to kew gardens and into london. Great start to our vacation.!"

Frequently asked questions

Which area of Cookham is best to stay in for cheap hotels?
For travellers seeking cheap hotels in Cookham, focusing on areas slightly outside the immediate village centre or exploring options in nearby towns like Maidenhead will likely yield the best value. Cookham itself is quite a charming, affluent village, and while it boasts lovely accommodations, truly budget-friendly hotels within its core are less common.Solo travellers looking for more affordable stays might consider looking for guesthouses or smaller inns on the outskirts of Cookham, particularly towards Cookham Rise or Cookham Dean. These areas offer a quieter, more residential feel, often with good access to walking paths and local pubs. While not directly in the bustling centre, they provide a peaceful base and are typically just a short walk or bus ride from the main village attractions and the train station.Alternatively, broadening your search to Maidenhead, just a few miles away, will present a wider array of budget hotels and guesthouses. Maidenhead is a larger town with excellent transport links, including direct trains to London and easy access to Cookham by local bus or a short taxi ride.
How much does a budget hotel in Cookham cost?

The village remains charming, offering quiet walks along the Thames Path or through the surrounding countryside, which are entirely free. Many local pubs and cafes also have off-season specials, providing opportunities for inexpensive meals. For couples, visiting in the quieter months means fewer crowds at popular spots like the Stanley Spencer Gallery, allowing for a more intimate experience. While some outdoor activities might be weather-dependent, the reduced cost of travel and lodging makes it an attractive option for a romantic, budget-friendly getaway.
