Grounds were amazing, very interesting to walk around. Spa was nice, was great that you had to book because there were enough loungers for everyone around the pool - We didnt have any treatments.
We upgraded our room, it was really big and had a lovely view over the back gardens and river. Bed was really comfy too!! Only downside was that there was only one plug socket which was under the dresser which was difficult when charging phones etc as they didnt reach the table, so anything on charge was left on the floor (realise this isnt a huge issue for most but im 8 months pregnant so i was glad i had someone else with me to do the job!)
We didn't eat at the hotel but did have a drink when we got back in the evening which was nice.
Overall, a lovely hotel and would love to revisit in the summer so we could spend more time outside.
